The usual from Travelodge. Room a little cool, but better than too hot. Room was well presented and clean. Coffee machine and kettle in room. Could do with a few more supplies. Bed was comfortable.

Poorly trained and disinterested staff are the first of many disappointing experiences in this dated and unclean hotel. There are literally too many bad points to note them all, but general lack of hygiene, noise from the street and broken fixtures and fittings are probably the highlights, along side some decidedly dubious stains in the bathroom. Would never return and felt like I needed a good shower once I?d left. Ghastly!

Great location and cannot fault the service... it's such a shame the room let the hotel down, it's in desperate need of a refurbishment. I had a single room and it cost £152, the photo make it look better than it actually

The reviews of this hotel are unnecessarily harsh. The price quality ratio is spot on. Is it a luxury accommodation? No. But I feel I got what I paid for. The room was clean and smelt fine. The bed and linens were very comfortable. Yes the bathroom was a little rough around the edges, but for a budget hotel, it wasn?t surprising. It?s a great location in relation to the train that takes your straight to the airport. So it?s an ideal spot to spend 1-2 nights, especially if you?re on a budget. We booked a superior room for 1 night.

The location of this hotel is great, right next to the train station. The room was In a poor state of repair, the carpets were poorly hoovered. The showers were powerful and can be pretty warm if you like that! The bed was pretty okay. All in all, this is a nice stopover if nothing around is better.

Travelodge maintenance is always poor. Refurbished rooms are never done to a high standard. This week's single room had the normal low quality painting but also poor cleanliness of some surfaces. All the horizontal surfaces were clean but walls had random old price labels and the light switch was filthy.. the light switch cleaned up fine with a gentle wipe with a clean cloth. Paint is blistering and coming off the walls. Bathroom doors need replacing with ones suitable for a wet room. The staff did move me to another single room which was better without making a fuss.Rooms: Across the groupt there needs more attention to detail when refurbishing. Painting over blistering paint is just a waste of paint. And replace bathroom doors that are water damaged!

The location is great, the staff are all friendly and very helpful. The rooms are terrible, they are dated, worn decoration, scuffed and yellowing. Where the room may have been updated at some point there are lots of covered over outlet points then trunking all over the walls for new outlets. No central heating or air conditioning. The windows are not tightly sealed, so everything can be heard from outside and let in the cold. The bathroom is grim, blown wood where water has got in, yellowing fittings from age, seals going. Now if I had paid a minimal amount for the room late £50 to early £70 I would be more happy to accept this, but when it was £150 a night no thanks. I expect a lot more especially from this brand. I will be asking for a refund!

On arrival the outside of the hotel didn't look bad, entertaining the hotel I was taken back as it was very basic. Man checking me in was clearly new and trying his best then along come another male member of staff who rushed him in what he was doing instead of being patient which made the new man visibly flustered, but he done what he should do and was very welcoming. When going through to the lift it looked very dated and dirty, lift doors and mirrors were dirty and ad a funny smell, the 4th floor landing smelt, carpets were dirty and rooms very close together, entertaining room I was disappointed with the cleanliness, visible bits on the floor, dust on headboard and lamp, no extras which where stated online with the room upgrade, table still had a cup ring on and bin had rubbish in, bathroom wall had hair's on by the shower. I went downstairs to Reception to complain and requested a room change, 3 members of staff came out to the desk, 2 not knowing what to do looking at me blankly, I had to explain my issues multiple times before two of the members of staff spoke in another language between themselves until I asked bluntly what was being done to resolve the problem, to then be told they were changing my room, again I went to a smelly room, but was cleaner. The curtains didn't cover full window which let alot of sunlight in in the morning, no extras which were in description, room was on front of hotel and was extremely noisy due to construction work over the road, strong smell of weed from somewhere. Bathroom was tiny with door stop right where you'd step out on to floor which got stood on multiple times.Don't pay for the room upgrade as it honestly isn't worth it, staff need to trained to clean to a better standard, hotel needs a revamp and welcome area could be more welcoming.

Good location and fine for one night but my goodness how Travelodge have gone down hill! There was a miscommunication about paying £10 for an early check in at midday and because I was grumpy about that the lady did upgrade me- still, the bigger rooms were not that fancy. Tiny bathroom!Breakfast included means a lunch box with: cereal, flapjack, croissant and OJ and cow's milk. They do not offer any dairy free options (I'm vegan).Service was a bit 'meh' with staff showing no empathy (apart from the first lady who was very kind and supportive).Good location but a very tired and run down hotel. Clean and quiet apart from the odd London car honk!

Absolutely disgusting. Do not stay here it stinky, unclean, no air con, dirty walls, blood on bed sheets, only the hot tap worked in the bathroom and no cold it scolded my friend. we had to leave and could not continue our stay it ruined our entire trip to London.

Very cheap but dilapidated and down on it?s luck. I really, really recommend you avoid this place. A truly drab and grim establishment. The staff were plenty pleasant, but I?ll never be going back. The room was tired and beaten up. Please look elsewhere.

I would recommend avoiding this hotel. We paid £150 to spend one night in a room that was dirty, small, noisy, had dead bugs down the side of the bed, dust over everything, cracked walls and paint, dirty bathroom and bed sheets that made us itch all night. Please avoid if possible.

The original room I was expected to spend the night in was DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY. In all the hotels in the world in which I have stayed this was the worst by far. After dialogue with reception I was later moved to an alternative room. NOT RECOMMENDED>

Right next to the train station, which was helpful. Khan on reception really helpful! Room clean and has a great little desk to work at. Bathroom could do with a little redecorating (sealing the floor and sink counter)...other than that a great cost effective bolt hole for a last minute trip when you don't need all the extras.

A weekend in London to see a top show jersey boys which was amazing but we have stayed at the travelodge many times but this was our worst stay not clean and no hand towels and no top up when we asked
