This place is staffed by young kids who don't possess the communication skills to give customer service on almost any level. The food is terrible. I ordered the cheese burger and the patties looked like they'd been microwaved to death before being shoved into a bun and dumped on a plate. The Loaded Nachos were stone cold and I am still waiting for my side to be brought out! It's located less than ¼ of a mile from a very busy runway... Every couple of minutes there are huge planes taking off so your sleep is going to be compromised.Look if you need to be in East London and don't want to eat or sleep then yeah, great place to stay.Rooms: Standard Travel lodge room. Obligatory cigarette stains/burns in the bathroom. Honestly spend a bit more and stay somewhere nice, this place is a dive.

Great hotel in East London. Comfy place and quiet. Near the DLR. Staff are helpful. Rooms are clean, and the food is nice. Good connection to other destinations.Overall, my stay at Travelodge London Excel was satisfactory. The location near the Excel Exhibition Centre was convenient for my purposes. The room was clean and adequately furnished, with a comfortable bed. However, the room felt a bit cramped, and the amenities were basic. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the check-in process was a bit slow. The hotel's proximity to public transportation options made it easy to explore the city. Overall, it's a decent budget option for those attending events at the Excel Centre, but don't expect luxury accommodations.

Great place to stay. Staff are very pleasant and efficient. Never a problem, thank you guys and dolls. Able to drive down and park. Not expensive to park. Two minutes walk to DLR, lots of trains to and from. Great breakfasts too, lots of choice, and more than plenty to go round. Travel Lodge have upped their game loads!!!!! ???

Hotel has been recently refurbished (although possibly not the mattresses which seemed well worn). Parking on site costs £10 for 24 hours, which isn't bad for London. Nearest DLR stop (Royal Albert) only a couple of minutes walk away. Rooms at the front of the hotel have views of London City Airport and the DLR line. Rooms fairly big and clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast fairly good value although juices are watered-down.

Being one of the newer Travelodges I thought this would be alright, but no.Generally clean hotel and comfy bed but so many problems.-no plug sockets by the bed, only usb (not helpful in the world of usb-c)- The shower curtain drains onto the floor. Along with a blocked plug hole, the bathroom ended up flooded.- the car park is managed by a third party company, I was charged twice by the faulty machine and their support line is only open 9-5- still having to pay for more than 30 minutes of wifi in 2024 seems crazy-

On arrival we were greeted by two smiling faces, Wahida and Anna who were both very friendly and welcoming. Wahida then upgraded our rooms so we had larger rooms for the period of our stay. The self-control heating system in the bedrooms is excellent. Having never stayed at a Travelodge before, we had no expectations but wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to family and friends. Thank you!

The place is great. Location is dependent on what you are there for. Worked for me. The staff are a little young and great. Compassionate. There is however, that one member of staff who thinks they own the place and always plays by the rule. Saying the staff should not do this or that as it is sackable etc. I?m going to say more details but overall lovely experience.Walkability: It?s close to the DLR network. Royal Albert is the closest station approx 3 mins walk.

Had two ladies greet myself and my labourer today whilst booking in and they definitely give off great vibes and exemplary customer service skills.I've been awake since 3am and we checked in at 6pm (ish) after a long days work. There was nothing better than having a greeting from CJ and Diane, great pair to have on the front desk. Please pass on my thank you and tell them not to change.Thank you
