I normally do a drive to this charlton M&S due to the fact that they have varieties of products in terms of food.The staff extremely helpful and friendlyI have shopped here for over 5 yrs.The clothing section is fine but not with most M&S collections brands. So basic compared to Bluewater one.Groceries is the best and also having been here many times it makes my shopping easy.Free children parking and plenty of space. They also have a cafe on the second floor plus foreign travel exchanges and also click and collect.

A very warm and welcoming cafe with friendly and very caring staff. Great selection of breakfast and lunch, quality food and excellent service. One of the best in Charlton.

Popped in here to use the toilet really and they were clean!Very clean, tidy and well organised store but cotton bed sheets are very expensive! That's M&S for ya!

Awful experience with a very aggressive security guard resulting in assault.I should start by saying I have previously visited this store at least twice a week since it opened on Charlton Riverside.During a routine shopping trip last week, I was accosted by a very unhinged woman who kept shouting that I should hit her after barging my trolley twice in quick succession deliberately and I dared to make eye contact with her as a result.Following this, I was approached by a security guard named Victor, who the woman had the audacity of reporting me to.He stormed up to me, became very aggressive, and repeatedly pointed at me while telling me to ?calm down? without allowing me to explain what had happened - I was calm, I was asking a shop assistant named Tony where the calves liver was. I had also remained calm when I was being verbally abused by the crazy customer.Tony later admitted in front of the store manager that Victor?s aggression towards me was totally uncalled for and over the top.Another shop assistant called Kelly interjected and advised Victor that she had witnessed the whole incident with the woman and confirmed I had done nothing wrong.Having asked to speak to the store manager due to Victor?s aggressive behaviour, it emerged the woman who had reported me knew Victor?s name, despite the fact he wasn?t wearing a name badge - nor did he have his SIC ID card on display.While the store manager, Mohammed, was speaking with me, Victor approached once again - this time even more aggressively. Mohammed had to physically push him away from me and tell him to ?go upstairs?.Mohammed visited with Victor upstairs and soon after returned to advise Victor had stated English was not his first language and what had occurred was due to what he had said being ?lost in translation?. I asked, if this was the case, why he had to be physically pushed away from me, which seemed to be met with agreement.I was then advised by Mohammed discreetly that he saw this as a racist incident and he felt that I had been targeted by both the customer and Victor. He asked me not to repeat this for fear of his job. I also found this rather strange.I asked whether Mohammed, in his capacity as store manager, would be sending Victor off the shop floor and was advised he was unable to do so, which I found odd, considering what had occurred.The following day, Mohammed called me and advised in order for them to investigate the issue, I would need to contact M&S customer services. I didn?t, I contacted the chief executive?s office and the police.The executive team are now investigating the issue of assault and I am awaiting a final response.I would give this store zero stars if I could, but am awarding it one star not only because it?s the lowest I can, but also for the professionalism and honesty shown by both Kelly and Tony, who supported me and agreed Victor?s behaviour was absolutely uncalled for and inappropriate.Victor is a vile little man who should be stripped of his SIC certification. Perhaps he should put more effort into stopping thieves who blatantly stroll out of the store with security-tagged foods such as steaks, rather than abuse innocent, paying customers and defending the actions of people he knows on first-name terms.

I ordered the cheesy chips and the garlic sauce didn't taste right.I believe it was off, as this was the only thing I bought all day and I was extremely sick for the next two days.I visited the store for food on Monday 3rd July around 13:30.The cafe area was not in the best state, there was dirty plates on the tables whist staff were sat there talking.

Been there for a quick shop as my children were hungry. They have a diverse range of sandwiches to choose from for any picky eaters.

Earlier in the week..we were seen initially by Nyrene at the till upstairs - she was very friendly and helpful :), and then she called Kate who saw us for a fitting. Kate was excellent! She managed to fit us in immediately. Was attentive, calm, patient friendly and kind to the last minute of seeing her. Extremely professional. I just had to come here and leave a review for these two workers. Especially as there have been unhelpful shop assistants there in the past. These two outshone them! Well done ladies - keep it up!??

I went to try fitting service for the first time. I was attended by Nadia, the star. She made me feel very comfortable and confident about me. She thought me inside and outside of fitting and how to wear properly. I have learnt my body parts entirely in a new way from her today. She explained every different products she thought would be perfect and close to my preference. She not only helped me with size, but also different line of M&S products. She explained how to choose next time and check the fittings of them are right. She also putted me on system so that the information don't get forgotten to refer future purchases. Obviously, I was wearing ill fitted clothing for years, so it was a life changing experience. She is definitely doing an excellent job in her role. I simply cannot thank her enough for that. Best wishes for her. ??

Was helped by a lovely member of the team (didn't catch her name sadly).Came in for an item I saw online which was in stock, wasn't on the shelves and the lady went up twice to the store room to get the items I wanted. So very grateful!

This M and S is medium size store. It has very basic selection of clothing available. The children section is OK. The home section is very small and the products are very dusty.The staff are polite and attentive. But the store is always quite stuffy.It has a cafe with comfortable seats upstairs. It is nice to have a piece of cake and a pot of tea with friends.There is a food hall with good selection of food and wine.

My local M&S is this one. Always come here. Cafe is very nice. Good range of magazines/trading card collections next to the till. Big parking. Would recommend.

Review for Cafe.M&S is known for good food and high standards. I was expecting the same of the Cafe at the Charlton branch but was shocked at how poor it was. We looked at the menu board and proceeded to order but our first 4 choices (ham hock, tuna, turkey and chips) were all out of stock! This was at 1.30pm. The Brie and something toasties we had to have looked like they were fried in a vat of oil they were so greasy. The coffee was luke warm and the water was not cold. It cost over £20 and a 2star Cafe on the high Street would have been better. Would not recommend or be returning.

Good place, with nice food in the cafe. A large selection of good clothing and a food section as well. Lots of parking as well. However I did have a very small bacon bap here and it didn?t exactly match the image of it on the wall ?
