Really great shop especially like Guy who is very helpful and knowledgeable. We bought a beautiful cupboard and will definitely purchase other items as we are always on the lookout for good quality Edwardian and Victorian furniture.

Great little shop, full of interesting "stuff" and owned by the very pleasant Guy!I purchased a good looking, mechanical, chiming wall clock at a very reasonable price.However, not being mechanically minded, I failed to get the clock running smoothly once hanging upon my wall at home.After a week of trying I returned the clock to Guy for a full "no quibble" refund!Customer service is alive and well! I will stick to battery clocks and return to Guy's shop next time I need a "curio"!

Asked the owner to come and have a look at a chest I had for sale. He obviously likes to get thongs for free and then sell as did not come to view. Did not ask for door number so had no ontesions on coming and did not even phone or text. Would never buy or sell to and from him.

I bought a dining table here. The table wasn?t on display, as they keep large items in a warehouse. I asked to see it before buying, but then fell for his sales chat and bought the table without seeing it first. It was delivered a couple days later and when we assembled it, we could see the terrible state of it. It has a large stain on the table top (not visible in the pictures) and the frame is extremely unsteady. As soon as you touch the table it sways from side to side.I called the owner and explained the issue, he claimed we did that to the table and he delivered a perfect table.I requested to return the table, to which he got angry over the phone and then hung up on me.He will not be taking any returns!Overal an extremely rude owner with bad quality products.
