Take note of the bad reviews on here!Put my car in for service at 8:20am (when the garage opened) told it would take around 3 hours and then didn't end up getting it back until 6:30pm when the garage closed. When I called them at midday they told me it'll probably be an hour from then which was a lie.I can't forsee any kind of excuse where a routine service would take the entire day, especially when there were slots in place after mine, so unless those with slots after mine didn't get their cars back until a day after putting them in, it didn't make sense.

Wasted 1 hour and £5 in diesel driving to a Wheel Alignment appointment only to be told their machine wasn't working.I received no cancellation notification until after I had turned up. Total waste of time and fuel.I get the pleasure of waiting up to 5 working days for my money back.I thought Halfords would be a safe bet for something like wheel alignment, wouldn't buy an air freshener from them now.

Fantastic service, everyone is friendly and helpful. They always try to resolve issues as soon as possible. High standard service! I would highly recommend coming here even if you have a local one, I come from Enfield although I have a local one I could go to simply because I know I will not get another service like this elsewhere! All mechanics are professional and friendly but I would like to say big thank you to Jason Winter in particular. Thank you, you were extremely friendly, approachable and understanding. I am grateful.

Booked an appointment to replace 2 tires which were worn away. Arrived at 5pm as per my booking, however they said ?due to shortage of staff there will be a minimum 1 hour wait time? So I rebooked the appointment for 11am the next day, when I came at 11 the next day, I had to wait an hour for my car to finally start being worked on, there were 5 cars in the garage and 2 staff members, which were working on all 5 cars at the same time. 2 of the staff were laughing in the reception, choosing music instead of working. Anyway, after 2 hours, both my tires were replaced. They started lifting the back of my car to replace the other 2 back tires, even though I only specifies to replace the front 2. After replacing the tires, they forgot to put the lid back on for the air hole.The whole place is a complete mess, no organisation, no one cares about the quality of the job, staff simply do not care, and wait time is extremely long. It does not take 2 hours to replace 2 tires. Do not go there unless you want to waste your time.

Shockingly poor customer service here. I had a prebooked an appointment which was paid for beforehand. I turned up on time and was advised from the outset that there would be a bit of wait. The task itself takes only 5 mins to do waited for an hour and half and was then told the part was not available. Something that could have been figured out within 5 mins.Luckily called a local garage and they sorted out the issue efficiently and quickly.I don't lay the blame fully with the staff as they are clealry understaffed but this level of incompetence is truly disappointing. Unfortunately I was not the only one disappointed, with literally everyone waiting for work to be done that day was frustrated with the poor quality and long wait. Halfords are letting their customers and staff down here. And I can see from previous reviews I am not alone in thinking this.I hope that I receive my refund as no work was carried out after close to 2 hr waste of my time. Lets see what happens. Regardless will never use halfords autocenter again.

I visited Halfords garage in Chingford yesterday with my daughter who has SEN. for a free tyres check as 3 of my tyres were regularly loosing air. My booking could not be found so I asked to be booked in straight away. He proceeded to do so on the screen but had to leave to check something for another customer. Someone else sat at the desk with another customer erasing my details from the screen. I waited nearly 3 hours among chaos. Everyone else present complained they had been waiting for hours without anything happening. Two people were seen ahead of me and at the end when my car was seen I was told I needed new Tyres sensors at a cost of £100 each=£300 possibly more with VAT!!! I left and went to T&S Tyres at the bottom of my road where the 3 sensors were fitted in 30 minutes at a total cost of £60.00!!!!! They sat us on a comfy sofa, made us a coffee and my daughter could watch her favourite program on TV.

I had an MOT and service done at the Halfords Autocentre Chingford and would not recommend it. The customer service is poor, the staff come across quite rude and communication is poor.The bookings system is useless and the timed slots are not kept to, so expect to be messed around on pick up times etc.

Horrible service! Took my car in for mot and full service. When I came back to the car the window was left open and it was raining and secondly after a day I notice a crack was appearing on my windscreen! They CRACKED MY WINDSCREEN and didn?t even bother to tell me! Manager is ridiculous and seems like he doesn?t care. Do not send your car here!

Misleading information in their website, booked with them a service for one of the parts of car, just to find out upon arrival that they do not do this service at their centre and the website is incorrect and apparently multiple people have happened same thing with them yet still they have not done nothing about it, its inconvenience because waste of time, especially when booked a few days in advance yet no-one informed of such a thing and the money was taken and refunded 10 days later, so not ideal practise to run a professional brand.

The service went smoothly and they picked up a few issues with my car but were able to fix it for me with no fyss.Very good customer service from Anton on the front desk who assisted every step of the way

Prebooked a major service for my car about 1 week ago online and opted for the early slot.Dropped my car in the morning, and someone saw me straight away!Later in the day, I received a phone call updating me about the estimated time of completing the job, which allowed me enough time to travel to collect the vehicle.Was greeted by a lovely manager called Jay, who thoroughly answered all the questions I had about the major service but also made me aware of the parts I was required to keep an eye on.Would recommend and return for future services!
