The layout, number and queue system for the new self-checkouts is an absolute disaster. There are far too many large tills for trolleys, too few staffed checkouts, and far too few baskets checkouts. It?s as if the management haven?t checked the types of shops they have at this store before deciding to choose the number of tills for each type.Sunday lunchtime - 20minute queue for all different till types? the vast majority of people had baskets, and no-one could work out where they needed to go.Please sort out this mess.

Won't be back. Had an issue with and decided to leave, but I couldn't. I was all but locked in. Was told to buy something to scan the receipt. So pushed through the ridiculous barriers to be accosted by security. Whom I made it clear check your camera I didn't touch anything other than the basket. Not partial to being abused by Sainsbury's staff. No thanks. Asda and Tesco were very happy to take my money and no one followed me out of the store

I?d like to thank DEAN for his customers service today, I came in with my 5 month old & he helped my lift my shopping and was able to assist me on the self service as well as recommend me getting a nectar card. His service was outstanding! Fabulous service *5

Sushi gourmet stationThe salmon tartar was fresh and delicious.Sushi was disappointing. When I ate them, the rice was hard and felt odd. When I checked the date, it was made the day before, so the rice had hardened and for the price, a letdown, advertising as fresh if it was a day ago!A sushi station shouldn't even think of selling old stock, at the same price too.Who wants to eat crunchy sushi??

Long queues to pay at the self service till. Smaller than Nine Elms Sainsburys. Stocks fewer items than Nine Elms. Does not stock peppered smoked mackerel. Have to pay £2 to use the car park and then spend £10 to get the £2 back. Good location to visit the post office.

They make you pay for parking before you enter and then refund it if you go to customer service to prove you spent more than £10. Ridiculous system! Just after some extra cash as they know people wouldn?t bother getting a refund.

In Sainsbury's Argos, I collected a package a from eBay stateside, but the Trader forgot to release the; Ecp code and through constant issues back and forth with the Argos Sainsbury's Staff, only one of them knew what to do and the other two who obviously didn't know their job but a day or two later! I approached Young Reegie, who knew exactly what she was doing and all the Appropriate Procedures on and I thank for her ; Empathy, and prompt response on releasing my package to me. (?????)

I like this supermarket, it?s large and well-organised. I come here weekly for my shopping. However tonight I was very rudely shouted at to leave by a red-haired, older lady of white complexion working in the evening. This was 5 minutes away from closing and after multiple very insistent announcement (one every 3 or so minutes) that all customers had to leave. I only had three items in my bag and was selecting the last one but could not buy it due to this very rude leash. Please train your staff! The supermarket still had five minutes to go. And I in fact left four minutes to closing time. Next time I won?t bother but, rather, do my shopping online on Amazon. Furthermore, I am used to come to this supermarket late in the evening due to my job. I understand staff can be tired and grumpy but to be shouted at while it?s not even closing time yet is unacceptable. Train your staff!

A medium sized Sainsburys. staff are lovely but shame there aren't more of them. Toilets though are frequently beyond vile and the baby change is "absolute emergencies only", as it's used by people who are not at a good place in life - they need to keep them locked and reserved for people who actually have babies.

Someone stole £20 worth of food and walked out but when informing the security guard, he did not seem to care and said "it was probably just food". What kind of security is that??

Usual modern day Sainsbury's store experience. Lines missing on shelves. Auto tills were not open, possibly because of a lack of minders, leading to wsits. Only 2 staffed tills open and waits here also. So inevitable that it took more time to pay than it took to shop.

The layout of this store is ridiculous. They have gone to lengths to steal your time. No matter what you need, a quick take-away sandwich or a big shop, Sainsbury?s Clapham will make you work for it. Years ago, Sainsbury?s used to feel more premium than its competitors. Those days are long gone. After you?ve wasted time hunting for your purchase expect a long queue to self-checkout. In the middle of an expensive area like Clapham, this store is a wasted opportunity run by a company out of touch and in decline.
