Went to pick up my medicine after my appointment and after waiting a few minutes inside I got kicked out because its their lunch time, no customer service or respect, still in pain because no medicine and waiting in the heat for an hour for them to open

A few days ago I gave my prescription (2 items), I paid and left. Once back home I noticed one of them was not in the bag!

When I went to collect a repeat prescription for my 1year old daughter, 2 days before a holiday abroad I was told they did not have my prescription.
My daughter has always refused all oral paracetamol and nurofen so I have learned to rely on paracetamol supositories. The woman who served me said she would order some in to complete a new request but as normal it would take a day or two to arrive (I know from experience no chemists in our area hold infant paracetamol suppositories in stock, they are always ordered in).
The following afternoon I received a phone call from the same woman who had served me previously, she was very apologetic, but said the chemist had refused to fulfill my prescription and that I should pay for them in future.
I am more than happy to pay for over the counter pain relief for my child, but I was always under the impression I had to have a prescription for this.
I asked if that is what had happened to my original prescription, that the chemist had refused to fulfill it before, but no one had thought to inform me, and the woman said yes, probably. I asked if they had ordered any in that I could buy, but was told no, the chemist hadnâ??t.
So I was left with no time before our trip and no pain relief for my infant. Needless to say she came down with a fever while we were abroad and I had no way of treating it thanks to this rude and unhelpful chemist!
I will never use them again. All it would have taken was a phone call originally to explain they wanted me to pay for the drugs or order some in for me to buy rather than let my child suffer thanks to their inconsiderate negligence and actions.
