Went to collect my order, but I couldn't find anyone on the shop floor. Was walking up and down for some time until a female colleague saw me and helped with my order. Very pleasant and helpful.

Matalan clothes are constructed well for not a lot of money. I buy their jeans. The staff are obliging and pleasant. One star off because I like being served as opposed to self service for card purchases. we are sleep walking into IT! Humans forever!

Large variety of clothes to choose from whether it be casual, nightwear or work on the bottom floor and plenty of toys for kids and home decor on the top floor.However, when you go to to the changing rooms to try on your clothes, the floors are always filthy. Dust that?s collected over time sits on the floor and there?s hair scattered everywhere.This is disgusting and needs to be taken care of immediately. No customer should have to try on new clothes in a dirty environment.

Comptetetive prices, mostly nice items, free parking. And here ends the list of the good stuff...The biggest downside here they have only one changing area, so there is highly likely You will wait in the queue there. Plus it is at the most inconvenient corner of store, if You are a male customer; since You need come down from the male section with the elevator to the ground floor and walk all the way through it then You can start queuing...They are charging £2 for a single shopping bag and it is pink and super ugly!!? Be prepared and arrive with Your own bag, if You are buying a lot of stuff...They have very tricky ways to push everyone to the self check-out queues, such as only cash accepted in the queue where there is a shop assistant etc.

Not much left quality wise things are expensive but as good quality as it used to be.

Changed a lot from before service a little underwhelming, and good for cheap last minute in or out of season last bits holiday etc be prepared to take your tags and pins out if u want to get out of there the same day.... plan extra time for that process..... your are on your own there ??

The worst customer service. The store manager is a racist. I went for a exchange, if the clothes cannot be exchanged she could have said in a better manner but she acted to be polite saying "dear" but she was actually Racist. She shooed me out of the store stating this is a company policy. Very very unethical customer service. I highly recommend not to visit this store even at emergency.
