On 7/7/2023 at 1:30 I came to theCricklewood Travelodge hotel withmy children and I was met by a veryrude reception she is the managerher name is Gabriella and I hadcome an hour earlier and thereception was telling me where youcame from and did not help me tosit in the waiting room not latemeand my children sit. And then hegave a card to open the entrancedoor and it didn't work 4 times andne didn't come to the door of myroom for the test and this was avery rude welcome from the hotelreception.lt was a very unpleasantexperience during my first entry from Reception. After a few months of my life in this hotel, she asked me to remove this complaint from here, but I saw that she is always rude and I wrote this to the hotel officials to take care of the important issue of hotel management.

The place is extremely dirty and no shampoos, shower gel or hand-washI have cleaned my room myself or it doesn't get done. The kettle is full of loose limescale and black bits. My floor has not been vacuumed for a week. I'm disabled and use an electric wheelchair yet almost all the staff assist me never. This place is only suitable for young people and people who cannot afford a proper hotelThis place is an overpriced youth hostel.Needs thoroughly cleaning especially the outside grounds .I would like to mention that the 2 men who served me food and the assistant manageress have tried their best ?in a company that doesn't care?to help meRooms: DIRTYFood & drinks: Cheapest frozen microwave food which is sent back 99% of the time.

Stayed here for one night to go to a concert, staff were really friendly, especially this lady I met called Sabrina, she was really helpful and even printed out my concert ticket for me as I had forgotten to do it, what a superstar! Thank you Sabrina!! Will definitely come back.Walkability: Close to bus

Stayed @ this travelodge for 2 nights on the 14th & 15th October. Have stayed here before, years ago, before it was revamped. Overall, it is a typical travelodge so you don't expect bells & whistles. However, considering it was touted as recently done, I was disappointed with several little things. I stayed in room 304.The base of the divan bed had a rip in it as did the duvet cover seam. The kettle really needed a descale. One of the bulbs over the bathroom mirror was out. There was no liquid hand-wash @ the sink so had to regularly lean into the shower for some, @ least there was some there. That was the room. Also, because I know the rooms in the front are fairly noisy, even with the window closed, I tried to request a room @ the back a few weeks in advance. Was told to call back the day before I arrived, when I tried that I didn't get through, so, yes, ended up with a fairly noisy room in the front so had a lot of disturbed sleep as a light sleeper.Booked breakfast for both mornings I was there. Again, no surprises there although the scrambled eggs are always rubbery. The Lavazza coffee machine was out of order all the time I was there. Did get a coffee from the machine @ the bar,in the same room, but it was so strong it was like rocket fuel so left most of that. Though I didn't have a lot of interactions with the staff, when I did, they were nice, friendly & polite. Will I stay here again, possibly, but maybe pay out a bit more for the new "Superoom" !

Don't bother booking. The noise from the main road and tesco underneath is terrible. The doors into the corridors arent soft closing and will wake you up.The security won't and can't do anything about homeless shouting and screaming outside your hotel entrance .Tesco has a freezer delivery at 11pm and the driver uses his horn like its keeping him alive. The manger was a nice guy but admitted he known everything we said and nothings been down.

Good value stay for business. Much improved recently. The new manager is very personable and the hotel and rooms are very clean and well maintained. Good for a business trip or a one night stay, for a concert as an example.

Wonderful and helpful staff, they were always there to help for everything we needed. Clean and comfy room, good breakfast and very good location. Excellent value for London! It was such a nice stay, would come back.

Worst Hotel ever! We found insects and hair in the shower and the water was not draining from the sink. There were stains on the carpet, it was too hot and smelly. We reported our issue, and showed pictures and videos but we were denied a change of rooms. Wifi is not free! You have to pay 3 Pounds/24hr. Never again.

Had such a lovely stay at this Travelodge for a quick break. Millie on reception was so lovely and attentive, nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her and her customer service was impeccable. So convenient, rooms were clean and the welcome was warm. Niraj helped us with food at the bar and was also a credit to this hotel, very polite, would definitely stay again. Well worth it.

It is everything you expect of a Travelodge - basic but excellent value for London and good transport links into the centre. Our bathroom was dirty when we arrived but we reported to the receptionist, Millie, and she cleaned it herself. I was impressed with the service and Millie was friendly and gave us great advice about travelling around London.

The room we were given had not been cleaned, bed not made etc. Given another room, key didn't work! back down, and said we were fed up, would like a refund and to leave. No senior staff there, girl on desk wasn't allowed to do it. So we stayed. The room was incredibly hot, the window would only open 1 inch, there was a fan which helped but little. No glasses in bathroom, and nowhere by the bed to put things accessibly, just a tiny shelf- and all for £120!

I had need to stay in this hotel for work and due to some errrors my additional booking didn't come through the system. I spent over 25 minutes with the guy on the desk and in the end I had to book an additional night on my phone as they have no booking at the reception. He couldn't even guarentee the same room for two nights! Next morning I go back to reception to chek everything for my remaining stay and Millie who had just started sorted everything out for me - she was polite, efficient and extremely professional - a complete contrast to the night before. The hotel isn't bad but they do need to sort their staff training out. The difference between staff is beyond explainable! I trust Millie gets the praise she deserves as she made it so easy.

A breezy 5-minute walk from my friend's house and conveniently right next to Tesco. Perfect for forgotten toiletries.Check-in was almost suspiciously smooth. And the keycards? What a game of chance! Will they work on the first try or the fifth? It's like a budget Vegas right in your pocket. The room itself was on the smaller side but pristine, like a dollhouse. Just beware, it turns into a sauna when London decides to have its once-in-a-century heatwave. There is no air conditioning. And the TV, so adorably small you might mistake it for a digital photo frame, had a hidden power switch?like an Easter egg hunt but less rewarding. Bonus round: the remote with no batteries. Now, let's talk about the auditory experience. Imagine my delight when I was serenaded awake by the musing playing in the street, belting out "Hello" by Lady Aqua. I thought there was someone in the room saying hello to me. And for the added cinematic touch, we had a flickering light in the corridor, sending strobes under our door gap all night long. It's like living in a budget music video. The hotel was kind enough to provide a fan, which, after a night out, felt like a gust of Arctic wind. Just don't expect much sleep between the fan's hum, the energetic street noise, and the flickering light's personal disco. In short, if you're looking for a place that?s next to your friends house, and you're not too fussy about small inconveniences, this Travelodge is your spot. Next time, though, I'll ask for a room that doesn't provide a front-row seat to the bustling London life.Rooms: Cozy without air conditioningNearby activities: Lots of takeaways and shops around
