Coming to browse the books is such a pleasant experience here. Everything is well laid out and in order. They sell Fairtrade and eco friendly items too which are good for gifts. Brought my mum here who loved it too.

Great book shop. Books come in a variety of conditions and publications. Also very affordable - I buy paperbacks here for £2-3!

One of the only places in Crouch End that doesn't allow dogs inside, which is very bizarre considering nearly every other establishment in town, including restaurants, pubs, and green grocers, allows dogs. It's a used book store. Can't figure out the logic.

This book store - like many others from Oxfam, are stocked with extremely varied and interesting works of literature. The prices are very attractive and the staff are knowledgeable and helpful on every occasion I have browsed and purchased books or vinyl records.Sadly, the concept (which is admirable) is not matched by the unacceptable fact that staff are unpaid and I think that is plain wrong. If you consider that such organisations as Oxfam are led and supported higher up the workforce (management) by various administrators of one kind or other - to the tune of several thousands of pounds in remuneration to boot - then I see no reason why the frontline staff who provide an outstanding service to patrons should not be afforded a salary by equal measure. You may wish to consider the sums of money or cash-like resources that Oxfam and other such organisations have under management at their disposal - which I think is worthy of thought. In conclusion - the concept of Oxfam is wonderful but the frontline staff should never afforded a salary and that is what I want Oxfam management to address.

This is a really good Oxfam. Lots of variety and I think because it?s busy, there is always a different stock.

I suggest all decent-minded people boycott this disgusting shop in view of the hideous behaviour of its executives in exploiting minors in Haiti. Hypocrites!
