They are absolutely lovely. I used to go to wood green post office but they are always too busy with too few staff. As i post very regularly (about once a week), staff recognise me and we have little chats, i think i had to queue once. I saw the 1 star review and can understand that customers frustration but it really isn't about this independent post office but more royal mail itself. I'm sure if he had come back and asked them to help him with tracking, they would have (unlike in the bigger post offices). I thoroughly recommend this place for people in our local area, a much more relaxed experience than in the official post offices.

The mail person was able to receive my parcel and letter for posting - the parcel has been delivered but when I sought to track the recorded delivery item the Reference Number I was given does not work - I could not track this very important business letter so I have no idea if it has arrived - why give a reference number which does not work? When I rang the PO on two numbers hoping to SPEAK to someone would could help I was merely referred to a website which I had tried to us without success before. People need contact with people not with machines which merely provide for example lists of possible problems which do are not relevant - it is such an awful waste of my time - I do not know who designed your sets of information but they are not user friendly. I was and am appalled to have rung a telephone number with the expectation that I could speak to a person who could help and this facility was not available. I am disgusted and wish there were another company to do this work.

I've been posting packages there every day for about a month. I've just started a small business which means I post about 4 or 5 small packages a day. The person who works there said that one first class stamp was sufficient. Apparently not. I've been having to pay a fine of £1.50 per item that had insufficient stamps on it. And about 5 packages never reached their destination. I've just lost well over £100. There is a post box about 100 metres from my house. The post office is about as far as I can walk with my back injury. So posting through the box is convenient. But you won't get an apology from this young guy. Accept responsibility for your error and apologise. Do something to make it up to me. But no all you get is attitude and denial. Perhaps it was just a misunderstanding I can accept that. But making no attempt to take responsibility shows poor character.

Such an exceptional place - staff are so friendly and really do go over and above. Recently I lost a receipt with a tracking number - and the manager kindly in his own time went through a whole days worth of duplicates and found a copy of it for me! Best post office ever!
