There a customer service assitant called Debora and is terrible at customer service! Twice she got my order wrong and this time I was asked by my GP to ask the opticians to book a free test to look at the back of eye due to very strong headaches . Unfortunately this woman was there and her attitude towards me was like she didn't want to serve me , like if was a bother. I explained the issue and asked if they had time to do the test on same day? She said I had to wait , made me wait over 35 minutes then to tell me no! but that they had an appointment the following day to which I could not attend due to work so I asked what about the next day? and she then said : no is over 48hrs needs to be done within 48 hrs!! Why she could not tell me that before?? Made me wait over 35 min to tell me that! I am going to change optician as I don't want to deal with that person ever again , specially when doesn't help customers at all. Useless!

I would like to tell you all about how I was treated disrespectfully by the manager of this section of Asda. I had an eye test and then a pair of safety glasses were made for me. These attentions cost several hundred pounds. I received a message sent by this manager saying, I can show up between 10am and 5pm to pick them up. I went the first time on Friday, and the optician ladies there told me that the manager is unfortunately free. I protested because I was not told in that message that he does not work on Fridays and that I am coming from 12 miles away. Then on Monday, I went there again with my boss's permission during my lunch break (the company I work for is next door to ASDA). Again the manager was not there. I was told that he was on break and I asked to be called. Those ladies did not dare to call him. I went to one of the general managers and told them how the optician manager was just making fun of me and my time. He was called up and he looked very upset that I dared to call him out of the break. Zero character! But my time and money spent don't count?

I have been a customer of Asda Opticians in Beddington for the past eight years and have always experienced the very highest levels of service. They have a very wide range of reasonably priced good quality frames and lenses. Staff are highly professional, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and thorough. I would highly recommend.

I attended here with my elderly mother who was treated with dignity and respect by all the staff present. Whilst we were there a 92 year man with mobility difficulties arrived one day early for his appointment. He was brought in, offered a chair and advised he would be seen today. Well done Croydon team for you kindness and compassion. I was so impressed!

I went to look at the frames. I had picked two pairs before lockdown tohave varifocal for the first time . A very rude and abrupt women said you cant look unless you have an apointment. No one was in there so it wouldn't be a problem. I told her I likes Joan Collins frames. She said she had never heared of them. She did let me in but not happy. Cross examined if and where I had my eyes checked. I said I understand that if I can't get on with them you could have a refund. Very abrupt told me yes but you have try them which was obvious but needed conformation as it wou?d be a large outlay and didn't know if I could get on with them. Tried a few pairs on but not the ones I had seen before. Have to say not sure I will go back because she made me feel very uncomfortably. The order would have been over £200 so not at all happy with my visit at zwallington Asda.

I had my first appointment booked in July explicitly explaining that I was having headaches most likely due to my eyes. It is now September and I still haven't had my eyes tested. They cancelled on me 3 times and each time gave me appointments after a month or more. As a patient who is getting headaches and them cancelling 3 times I would have liked to think I would be a priority of getting an earlier appointment. On top of that their customer service is horrendous and good luck trying to get through to them on the phone. It might take you years!

Quality opticians, convenient for Asda customers. Reading glasses available at reasonable prices.

I was quite sceptical about getting glasses from a supermarket, but I checked the website and in-store, and yes they are the same glasses as sold in other opticians but considerably less expensive. No this isn't a franchise of supersavers or starlight express it is Asda Opticians which is a Walmart company. The main price difference is that there are no hidden extras, thin lenses and coatings or tints are included.Tam, Sharon and the rest of the staff are so helpful, the service is excellent I honestly can't praise them enough.

Excellent service and care from Tam. Surpassed all other opticians i had dealt with for my varifocalsand left me a very happy customer indeed. Will definitely recomend to family and friends!

Feel obliged to right the reviews here. Best range at the best prices. Designer frames (real ones, not imitations) with the thin lenses and scratchproof coatings all part of the price. Even with ultra thin lenses these guys are half the price of the usual high street robdogs. I bought Oakley with varifocals and cannot believe how cheap it is. Also the staff seem to give a damn, not just chuck you down the production line. I went here on a recommendation, would never have thought of going to Asda for specs. Try them. Won't be disappointed.

I was shopping with a friend and we are disabled and your s/ gard approached us and was off with us about our disability we do not expect to have one of your staff treat me like that , its hard enough being disabled as it is
