I attended the store to collect an item purchased online. The staff were not particularly attentive and when the item was brought from the storeroom there was no offer of help to carry the very heavy box to my car in spite of very high winds and the fact that I was obviously a pensioner. Not impressed!

Parking scam in place here by UKPS avoid.Halfords not doing all they can to not let there customers get fines, should install barriers to highlight this or add road markings, they also put bins in front of the halfords parking sign. So annoyed just avoid them.

Spent 40 mins on the phone booked Halfords ?we come to you? service to get a new tyre fitted on the car that had a flat after going down a pot hole.They couldn?t do that day or the next so we booked it in for the day after that. Had to pay in full with extra for home fitting, extra for time slot etc. We got a text in the morning saying a fitter would come between 12-4.Then got a call at 11.00 saying there were no fitters available and they?d have to book another slot for the following week.

Very helpful member of staff who tested my faulty battery, explained what he was required to do and then agreed to replace it under warranty.

Purchased a nextcam cabin camera which was ordered on Saturday for collection. I was updated regularly by Halfords on the progress of my order. I was sent a email that my item was ready for collection. When I got to the store, Raj was very helpful to locate my item after doing his due diligence check. Very impressive. Quick service. DO NOT PARK HERE! the shop is okay but as others have mentioned, the parking is not clearly labelled and you will be hit with a fine. Halfords have put their own parking signs around the back to the right of the building (not much use there, you won't see it until it is too late, if at all as the entrance is around the front). Halfords will tell you it isn't their problem but it is if they start to lose customers. I certainly won't bother going back here, it's not worth the parking hassle. I don't shop anywhere that I can't park and in this particular location there is nowhere else to park. Halfords, you need to step up and sort this out or your shop will not make any money as you won't have any customers.

Hi I went to Halfords Purley Way on Saturday morning to replace front light bulb- the staff especially Gabor were very helpful and assisted straight away. After locating the bulb Gabor put the bulb in for a fraction of what Renault would have charged after taking the car apart to do the job . I?m very grateful for his help and saved me lots of money, thank you .

Have to echo what everyone else is saying about parking, turned out to be a very expensive trip to Halfords. Will not be returning here, the fact you have done nothing about this is awful customer service. Very disappointed.

I would like to say a massive thank you to the Purley way Halfords store team after a negative experience at the Halfords store in Bromley. I was met with a lovely team in Purley way on 3.11.2023 at 19:00. I went to the store closer to the closing time, but they were very welcoming!!My car was checked by Jonas. He was very helpful and informative. He took his time and didn?t rush and addressed all the concerns/questions relating to the car and explained everything clearly and simply. I was worried about all the error messages on the dashboard. He explained them all one by one and it made a huge difference and I was reassured.Thank you so much Jonas for your amazing/ excellent customer service. I truly hope Halfords rewards your amazing hard work and excellent customer service. He also completed the check in a timely manner and with smile/chat. Once again massive thank you Jonas.Also, his colleague Steve who agreed to complete the winter check nearer the closing time. Thank you both :)

Excellent customer service - friendly, polite and kept me informed. Better still Jonas went the extra mile to ensure I optimised value for money by making suggestions to have a wider check up ?. No extra cost and reminded me that if I spent an extra £1.50 I?d receive £5 discount. This engendered trust ?

Went into the Purley Way store for brake pad replacements on my (Carcerra Crossfire 2) bike. I was up-sold a silver service at around £55 extra. They had my bike in the store for five weeks (no one bothered to contact me at all during this period) and when I collected, my gears where slipping. I went back the next day and was told, they couldn't help as their bike mechanic was off sick and I should to go to the West Wickham store. I asked for a part refund but I was refused. After using the bike with the slipping gears for over three months and contacting Halfords on least four occasions to try and sort it out for me, I found the staff unprofessional, unhelpful and gave the impression they didn't care. After a second service elsewhere, it was discovered all that was required, was some oil and tightening up. My worst bike service ever.
