Hi, was kept totally up to date about my order via email & text. I arrived at the Wickham Rd Shirley store & was greeted with a smile. The lady at the till instructed a colleague to get my toolbox which was then delivered by handcart straight to my vehicle. I was then helped to lift it in. All in all from start to finish an excellent service. Well done Halfords & the toolbox is also excellent ?

The member of staff was very helpful. He asked me if I needed help, without me having to seek him out, and he helped me find what I needed. I always get a good service at this store.

I bought a car seater, Joie, for my baby. I am happy with the product.However, the support from the staff was pathetic and truly unprofessional.Firstly, we ordered the car seat on Saturday, 23rd September and we were told that it should be ready by Tuesday. We tried to call the phone number, to check if it is ready, the number doesn't connect.Secondly, while making the order we requested for the demonstration. And we went to collect only on Thursday because there was no confirmation. However, when we went to collect on Thursday, they said, no one is available to demonstrate. And suggested us to come back and collect on Saturday, anytime. When we went to collect, on Saturday, 30th September, with the baby, they said we are short of staff and cannot give the demonstration. On requesting multiple times they asked me to wait for half an hour. When nobody came, I went back inside to ask again and now they asked for the receipt and finally they started, the lady who was at the counter bought the seat and came to demonstrate.Finally and most importantly, the lady came to demonstrate but she was really not in a mood to do that, the attitude showed that very clearly, or may be she didn't know how to do it, I don't know. She ONLY showed me how to fix the attachment connector to the seat and nothing else. Even after asking number of times, she was not explaining any other adjustments or may be she couldn't. And finally she said, she is going to detach it, and I myself have to fix it (I understand this, as nobody else will take the responsibility, I myself have to do it). Now, I requested her, if she could please stay while I fix, so that I can be confident that I am doing it right. And she said, I am not staying, I am going home. Yeah, but she stood there when I requested again.So, the conclusion of this long review is, this is not the way, you guys should behave with a costomer who really waits patiently, as much YOU REQUIRE. Please help the customers who needs your help and even waits for weeks expecting it. Hope you guys are sitting in the shop for the same. Neglecting them and NOT EVEN GIVING 5 MINUTES to something that is really needed is really unprofessional.Finally, I have learned all the the various settings and features from various YouTube videos, for which I WAS WAITING TO UNDERSTAND FROM YOU GUYS AND ENDED UP WASTING MY TIME.

Purchased 4 spark plugs on 18/09/23 (Order 493070), paid online and advised items ready to be collected from 19/09/23 after 16:00!!!. No update until 20th, when I got in touch what is going on.Online chat agent did not had any clue why my item not ready. Got a call afterwards while I am work, items with Euro car parts and when it is ready will let me know. Wow.Halford online sales team use misleading tactics and give wrong estimate about product collection information. They don't provide accurate, precise and honest details that the items will take 1 week. If you don't get in touch with them, they just ignore you. I only got an online receipt today, purchased I made since 18/09/23. Am still waiting for my item as I am writing this reviewI could have ordered it with Euro car part myself and collect it same day. From this bad experience,I will not recommend anyone getting car items from Halford such as important components. Waste of time

I went to the bike department yesterday and I can say that the service provided was nothing short of phenomenal. The guy running the department, Daniel, should be given a pay rise. Excellent information, great communication, amazing all round.

Was served by a short gangster man with neck tattoos and a miserable personality.I smiled and said "Hi" , he just glared at me with a straight face like he was trying to intimidate me.I tried to purchase some goods from upstairs but there was no staff, only gangster man was available and he refused to serve me because he says there should be someone upstairs to do it

Appalling service at this store earlier today. I was about to pay for a dash cam and the manager then decided, as he had missing parts from three of the six packs he hadin stock, to try to charge me an extra £50 over the advertised price. Be very careful at this store that you are only charged the advertised price not the price the manager may decide at the time to make up for their poor stock control/loss of items from their stock room

I went to the West Wickham branch today just after 5pm to get a steering wheel lock. I spoke to 3 of your staff. All of them were exceptionally helpful, ensuring I was buying the right product for me. One of them even got their own wheel lock for me to try. Even though it was getting near to closing time, I wasn?t rushed. Bought two bikes and a bike rack from here. Brilliant service from start to finish. The guys at the bike desk were super helpful both times I went in there and the guy that helped fit the bike rack (I believe his name was Connor) was super too. Yes there's a bit of a delay occasionally but honestly I think that's more a lack of staff issue than anything else. Would definitely recommend using this store

After visiting my nearest Halfords branch I was told they couldn?t change a light bulb in my cars front light.Passing a different branch I enquired again & was told they couldn?t do it either but the West Wickham branch could.I drove there the store had no customers inside or out &staff outside at the side of the building chatting.On asking for the service advertised outside to change a car bulb the young man who came to the desk couldn?t find the bulb I needed online.I asked if somebody could take it out of the car & check if it was in stock in store.I explained I had the bulb changed previously at a different Halfords so knew they stocked it. After speaking to his manager on the phone the young man who was very nice but clearly unsure what to do was told they were too busy, nobody was free & that I should take the bulb out myself & bring it into the store.I said I didn?t know how to that?s why I had driven there.The young man on the till called his manager again & was told they were too busy.I asked to speak to themanager who then came to the desk and suddenly said he could help & staff suddenly appeared, there were at least 6 staff!1 star for the 2 staff who eventually had a look at the bulb! They tried their best & were very helpful, the older staff member sorting out the light & helping his younger colleague.I will go to Bromley in future as I always find them very helpful even when busy.

I had an appointment booked, still had to wait over a hour before they Evan done anything. I payed for plates to be fitted but the young gentleman didn?t want to drill new wholes in the plates. Only wanted to put sticky tape on the back. Really poor service. Short staffed and was busy on a Saturday. Need to employ more competent people if they?re to work on motor vehicles. I will take mine to an independent machnic next time. Just stick to selling bikes ?

I've ordered dash cam online there were 2 items, at the time of order placement I've added an option of fitting the dash cam and paid for that aswel. The date and time which I've selected I visit the store for the dash cam fitting, the staff on the counter given me my order and told me to wait outside someone will come outside and fit the camera I will take few minutes don't worry, the engenier came with the camera he saw the car and said this is hybrid car we cannot fix. "There was no information about this online" And when I've placed the order I have entered my registration. Later on the engenier was telling me manager is not here otherwise I can do it for you, then telling me there is not booking showing in the system and no one is free to do it. They literally behaved very unprofessional and wasted my time. Very disappointed
