Changed the layout... preferred the layout before, place is clean. Didn't have chicken meatballs which was disappointing, and being IKEA one would hope that there would be seating available at the hotdog food place on your way out however seats are very limited but lots of tables? Go figure! Speaking of hotdogs they have changed too, although still very tasty, and prices are fantastic for the food served there too.Otherwise standard IKEA products available.

Everything you could want is there. Make sure you like walking as if you do you will do plenty of it.

IKEA Croydon is an absolute gem! I recently purchased the iconic 'Billy' book shelving system from their fantastic furniture collection and had a delightful experience. The store's layout is incredibly organized, making it a breeze to navigate through the wide array of options available. The 'Billy' bookshelf was exactly what I was looking for - sturdy, sleek, and easy to assemble. The staff at IKEA Croydon were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, guiding me through the options and ensuring I found the perfect fit for my space. What's more, the food options at their cafeteria were surprisingly delightful! After a satisfying shopping experience, I indulged in a tasty lunch that exceeded my expectations. The variety of choices and the quality of the food were impressive, providing a perfect break before continuing my shopping.Overall, IKEA Croydon truly impressed me with its exceptional customer service, well-organized layout, and the convenience of having both fantastic furniture options and delicious dining under one roof. I highly recommend this store to anyone in search of quality furniture and a delightful shopping experience.

Is it bad that this is genuinely one of my favourite places to eat?!The food is genuinely fairly priced, DELICIOUS, and, if you visit on a weekday lunchtime, the canteen is so spacious that you can have an extremely restful time with not too many people around (even at busy weekends, you're never unable to find a table). I always have the vegan plant balls, fries, and peas, with lingonberry jam and mustard. I do wish there were more vegan options, but the one they do have is excellent. I love the curry sauce too, when they (occasionally) have it! I love the canteen experience ? sure, you have to queue, but then you get your food right away! A genuinely faultless dining experience. :)

For us as a family this always becomes a very good day out option. My son calls it's ?his favourite shop? it?s big and pretty much has all the ikea catalogue things. Great to get ideas for home renovations and some really clever storage units. Not to forget the cafe. My son absolutely loves it and he is a fussy eater, so that?s telling something about the choice and food quality. All in all a great place to visit and if you have nothing else planned a good Saturday in my opinion

The worse IKEA in London. In Returns section the assistants are pretending to work. Takes 10-15 mins to call the next customer. Most of them on the phones, chatting, having chewing in the mouse. Express Returns is always empty! Like it doesn?t exist. And once you reach the till, most of them are being rude.I waited in the queue almost an hour! With ten people in the queue and 4 IKEA assistants walking around with their personal phones like on holiday. If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this IKEA store!

It's been a year since we were last here. I think you have visits when you love everything and some when you think otherwise. I have noticed the jump in prices. Things that once were a bargain now seem too expensive for what it is.Ensure you have enough time to browse as it's big.

Situated in Croydon, IKEA a Swedish company has a huge outlet for every home decor requirements. Right from lighting decor to Beds to dining tables. If at all I need to furnish anything or any room, my automatic choice is IKEA. An excellent range of Quality products and a wide range of affordable cost.If you are into DIY, lot of stuff can be picked and assembled by you at home. For large items ask for home delivery and assemble yourself or for a nominal amount get IKEA team to do it for you. Keep it up IKEA.

I thought the ?Hej? on the back of the staff?s T-shirts might have predisposed them to providing helpful customer service but all three members of staff I came into contact with had the same attitude of ?I?m restocking and that?s all I?ll do? despite the fact I was moving into a new home and had two trolleys worth of gear. I was so annoyed by that time I got to the til, I put a load of stuff back (that probably wouldn?t have worked anyway to be fair) and thought I?d pay the extra and go to John Lewis where the staff are always lovely. Other than that, what I bought was good quality and very reasonably priced.

I was in the customer service section and was served by Gil, this was the best customer service I have ever received. Gil was patient, helpful and tried everything to help me. I never go online and write reviews, but I just had to, as the service was amazing. Well done Gil, I hope that Gils mangers sees this and praises her.

This IKEA can be enjoyed in two ways.1. You browse on a Saturday morning with your trolley and enjoy the maze of impulsive buys, negotiate a stop at the café for meatballs and hope the relationship with your partner is still intact by the end.2. Look up the aisle position of your items online and enter through the exit directly to the warehouse to collect your stuff. Celebrate your genius with a hot dog at 8pm on a weekday.

I was in the area and decided to pay a visit to Ikea in Croydon. Whilst there I got something to eat at the restaurant. My normal order is meatballs and chips but I was not massively hungry so instead I got a bowl of soup and some garlic bread which was really tasty. If you have an Ikea Family Card you can have a free hot drink and this includes refills so if you are wanting a hot drink make the most of this offer. Better value than Wetherspoons! The lady that served me was really welcoming and the restaurant was kept very clean and tidy with staff patrolling the area wiping tables and replenishing supplies. Of course there is always something you will find you need whilst visiting the store so it's worth taking a stroll around the market hall and you may come away with a bargain. I realised during my visit to the Ikea in Croydon that this is probably the best Ikea for me to visit if I am travelling by public transport. The Croydon Tramlink has regular trams running to the closest stop at Ampere Way from Wimbledon to Beckenham Junction and Elmers End with interchanges at East and West Croydon. So there are links with South West Trains and the District Line at Wimbledon. Southern Railway at East & West Croydon, Thameslink at Wimbledon, Mitcham Junction and East Croydon and South Eastern Railway at Elmers End and Beckenham Junction.

Took the kids here while me and my husband looked at furniture, they absolutely loved it here! It took a while to convince them to move on from the soft toy area. Great displays and entertaining decorations?. The food here was simple but fantastic ?. Ice cream is very affordable here. Definitely a great day out for the kids. Will come again!
