I went to the Croydon St James Road Kwik Fit on 29th December Friday afternoon as wanted to see if I could have my tyre repaired. When giving the details of my car the person taking the details insinuated the car wasn?t mine and was stolen. I found this very rude and unprofessional.I was advised that the tyre was unrepairable and I would have to get a new tyre put on. I felt that this was not true and I was advised incorrectly. They then proceeded to tell me they only had premium tyres in stock with a cost of £163 for 1 tyre. I did accept this tyre and wasn?t until after leaving realised this wasn?t the best tyre for my car and believed I was ripped off, as made no mention I needed the most expensive tyre or that the other tyres on the car were premium.I feel like the customer service received was very poor as they could see the car was still drivable so should?ve suggested not driving the car and coming back to get a more suitable tyre or to go to another branch.I left feeling very deflated after over spending on a tyre and the comments made about me not owning my car.Due to this experience it will be very hard for me to visit another Kwik Fit and will look at alternative options first.I have inputted this on the Customer Care Team page but not yet received a response.

Most importantly the task was completed successfully and punctually. However, what, to me, made a big difference was the very pleasant and polite customer service I received on both my visits; it was refreshing in this day and age. On my first visit the procedure ( wheel alignment) could not be performed but I was advised to telephone the following day, which I did, and it was done by appointment. I dealt with the same young man on both occasions and his manner was in complete contrast to the people I had dealt with at two branches of Halfords. Unable to tell you his name but he is an asset to you.

I left after mot and I have problem with the lights. I asked the guys there what's the problem and they told my car has electric problem. So how I passed the mot if I had problem with the lights.

We experienced a fault with our car when we were driving nearby Kwik Fit St James Road, so pulled in after going on google maps to find the nearest centre to help. From start to finish it has been seamless. Very attentive, quick and knowledgeable and called with updates on the cars progress. We will now be using them as our go to service centre for the car moving forward (MOT, Service etc). Can't thank Adam and the team enough for the service they have provided, really appreciated.

Actual service was fine and happy with that, although mentioned brakes were squeaking and this hasn't been fixed even it was apparently just brake dust.Usually no problems with Kwik Fit, but there were some suspect issues, like poor battery, which is brand new. Got a second opinion and they said it was fine. The battery supplier also mentioned that Kwik Fit are known for trying to make more money off people.Overcharging for alignment - went elsewhereOvercharging for tyre replacement -went elsewhereWeird how i also had an MOT at a different Kwik Fit and none of these issues came up.Also I paid for a full service but it doesn't sound like they do much except diagnose.Not gonna use them againService: General repairs & maintenance

Very Friendly service and people. Faraz- Danny and Lou were great today. I'm disabled so they fixed my car before they went to lunch so I didn't have to wait in an uncomfortable state. Thank you. True gents in the place! Regards Shane
