I've noticed that within a 5-10 minute walk, there are 2-3 Sainsbury's Express shops. These compact stores are convenient for picking up essential household items in a pinch. However, it would be even more convenient if there was a larger superstore available, as it would offer a broader range of products, potentially at more competitive prices. Overall, the Express shops are handy for quick needs, but a superstore would be a great addition for a wider selection and better deals.

Absolutely ridiculous! Been standing in the que 15minutes to get pack of cigarettes. Staff is lasy, one cashier behind till another wonder around without willing to help despite long que. Definitely wint waste time coming back

I come store for only ice cream for my son but security guard said store is close at 10:55, on the website it?s says closing time is 23:00 o?clock, its really bed service from the guard and he is not employe of the sainsbury.

Got most of the basics and a bit more...but crikey some of the prices in these small local branches are eye watering..even with cost of living .. crisis. Staff are friendly.

What can I really describe..It's a corner local shop which gives absolutely no real friendly welcome for visitors to the area. The meal deal produce was nice and affordable but the staff seemed to lack what they are paid for.. Customer service and a welcoming approach.The area has virtually NO where to stop to quickly get a bite to eat..Won't be returning again.

Absolutely Distining attitude by the Security staff and manager. I popped in last night (19.10.22) to grab some last minute bits just before closing time (23 00hrs). I saw a middle aged gentleman walking up and down an Isle looking at vegetables, a tall, slim IC3 male approached him and said, and I quote, "Are you death I have told you it's time to leave", I noted that the IC3 male must of been a Security Guard as he was wearing a White shirt which Said Mitie on it, which I presume was the name of the company he worked for. He was also wearing a black coat without displaying a current SIA license, which is required in law for all contracted Security Guards. I felt really sorry for the customer as he clearly had learning disabilities and I noticed a hearing aid in his left ear. I then noticed an IC4 male, who appeared to be a member of Sainsburys staff also telling him its time to leave when he clearly had shopping in his basket. The IC3 male then turned to the IC4 male and said, "Are you dealing with this as I need to get my bus" and left the store. The customer was clearing trying to explain to the two males that he has hearing difficulties, which they just ignored. I have never seen such disgusting behaviour in my life towards someone who clearly had learning disabilities I spoke to the customer outside the store and gave him my contact details, and I do hope he follows up with a complaint as this was clearly Direct discrimination against someone with a protected characteristic under The Equality Act 2010. I will never visit this store again. Disgusting, I do hope the staff members are brought to task. I will be posting this across social media as I wholeheartedly believe vulnerable members of our community should NOT be treated like this.

NEVER EVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN !First they have rats in their pastry, now dead bugs in the salad bowl!!! They hike up prices but give zero care quality assurance. Absolutely vile !

Got accused of stealing something (i didn't) just because of how I look. The security said "they were just doing their job when I wanted to talk to the manager about it. The staff are slow. Honestly if you aren't white i would avoid.

Placed an order through deliveroo and picked the option of if anything is not available to cancel the whole order. Sainsbury's still accepted the order and fully charged me for everything, eventhough there were items missing.

This used to be a great little local shop. Now it feels like I?m an unwelcome visitor getting in the way of a frantic Amazon warehouse. There?s an endless stream of Deliveroo etc. drivers pushing to the front and staff rushing around getting beeped at by loud picking devices. As a regular shopper it feels like you?re treated like a second class citizen. I now regularly have to wait around for ages to be served, especially if I?m trying to buy alcohol, which I always am!
