I don't usually do reviews but if I could give santander more than 5 stars, I would have.I'm a single mother & sometimes very difficult to pay my bills on time. Santander bank is the only bank I have bank with the allows my direct debit go through without charging me extra, i can still use my card to buy food for my children even if it's minus. When my universal credit comes in, they take it back. The Bank looks after parents like me in this difficult time & I will forever be grateful.Thank you Santander

No customer focus at all. After the lastest app update I was just told to go and get a new phone no consideration for the current situation where everyone struggles to make ends meet. I hope to be able to move to a better bank soon.

I have been to santander for opening a new account like new customer, consultant have been very kind and helpful with me but we made my application on line and didn't work cause my settle statement, I didn't understand why, I am regular in U.K. 100%, I tried by post, sent copies about passport, council tax statement, my settlement, I did track my letter, central bank has received it, I never got response by them, I've been in bank in Croydon, George street again, consultant very polite again, sent my documents by fax... in the end "my session is expired " I am very disappointed, I am gonna make a new bank account at another bank

Arrived there this morning after just after 11, the lady at the entrance was great, showed me how to deposit and also informed me that I can deposit at my local post office now. She was a all around professional. Brilliant.

Eventually found an open branch - please be aware that Santander do not seem to realise that they share their details on Google maps so there are plenty of Santander branches that look like they are open but actually are not. I have raised this with them but all they say is check the website. So this last seven days I had an hours wasted trip to a branch that didn?t exist and then was on hold for over half an hour to them to find out before giving up. Have now found this branch - nearly 6+ miles away and have had to pay to park.

I came in because I received a new debit card and pin which I needed to activate. I was feeling a bit under the weather on this particular day but the woman who helped me at the atm was so patient and understanding. At a time when branches are closing left, right and centre and customer service seems nothing more than an automated helpline she was an absolute star.

i m a costumer with santander bank now for the last 20 yearsi visit the branch in George Street croydonto deposit some cash into my accountusing the cash machinesome how the machine got stuck andmy money £660 was stuck as welli couldn't not get a receipt from machine and staff couldn't not open the cash machineso i was insisting that i need something in writing that the cash machine holding my money . So the staff memeber Muhamed wastaking all my details so someone will contact me tomorrow morningi insisted to him that i need something in writing that cash machine got my money stuck , then he Agreed to give a simple receipt comfirm that , But just then a Member of Staff called ( Diego) which was very rude and unprofessional come over and tells me(My friend we hold a lot more money then thatin a very rude way sarcastic way ) very very rude PersonI must say that Muhamed was try in to helpBut someone Please give some training to Diego how to approach customersNormally is Maddam / Siror been called by name you have on your bank cardvery very bad experience
