Don't buy fried chicken buns. It doesn't have any chicken inside. Just dry bun.Apart from that I love this super market. Great place to buy sushi rice, tofu and other things for low price.

The Chinese restaurant there is reasonable and ok. The super market has all the basic essentials but is more tailored for bulk buying takeaway owners. The new addition of bubble tea stand is welcome.

Reading the comments re parking, it is really quite simple (and the signage is extremely clear) - IF you are going to the restaurant for a meal, we all know that the queue can be very long. Therefore, follow the posted signage outside the restaurant and park upstairs. 4 hours parking available on the upper level.Agree that there is a lack of stock - inconsistent supply of basic items and a number of lines have been removed from the store (almost likely due to supply issues beyond their control too).The new layout is illogical - and there was a brief phase where the reorganisation of the shelves was done 2 or 3 times over a month and it was chaotic finding things. However the new layout sort of makes sense and is easy to navigate - if you cannot find something, ask a member of staff, they will direct you.The staff are all friendly and will assist you with questions etc. There is a good range of dry, fresh and frozen items.We've been shopping here for coming up 10 years - all the staff know us and say hello when we walk in which is really nice.Overall, taking the supply issues out of the equation as these are not something that the store can control, a deserved 5 stars.

Bought seaweed which is a dry food, bought three packs, they were mouldy. Went back didn't have a receipt, got told no refund no receipt. Cashier lady did try to look for my receipt on their system but couldn't find it. They say it doesn't affect your statutory rights but reality tells you otherwise. Wing yip didn't exchange nor refund the goods. Make sure you keep your receipts people. I left the three packs there. I wonder if they will end up back on the shelf? Won't be buying seaweed there then....

Wide selection and really good prices. Staff is so nice and helpful as well. I asked a lady to help me find a beef marinate and at first she couldn?t find it but then she asked her colleague, they found me and directed to the right spot. They are so polite and friendly. Also that beef marinate sells for £8 on Amazon and here it was just £3. Love Wing Yip!

Beware of the newly introduced parking scam when one stays over 2h. Even when the reason for staying more than 2h is the queue at the till. What a way to treat customers!

They give parking charge notices to customers who have spent probably multiple thousands+ in their entire lives. Just because I left the 'premises' on important meeting after shopping there. The old security guard used to know me on a first name basis and I could order the usual but it's all changed now they've gone woke. Disgusting.

Everything is going wrong with Wing Yip. Empty shelves, lack of product choices, rude staff and poor customer services. Today I found out that Jason, one of their managers have left the business. He has consistently been the greatest during the many years I have shopped here. I think he is highly respected by both employees and customers. The new management are incompetent in business and customer service. They are unprofessional only stay hidden in the office.
