I have been in deep pain after being racially abused by the female store manager on duty. With the encouragement of my family and friends, I have decided to speak out about my feelings and report your company's failure to educate its employees. On the morning of April 28, 2023, I went to the store to buy cold medicine as I was feeling unwell. At the checkout, I waited for the supermarket staff to confirm the age verification with another white man. However, the female manager only asked to confirm my ID and did not ask the other white man for his ID, allowing him to purchase the goods directly. This incident made me feel extremely uncomfortable as it was a clear case of racial discrimination, which has deeply disappointed me regarding Sainsbury's image.I request that Sainsbury's provide me with an explanation for this incident and cooperate with the authorities by providing CCTV clips for investigation purposes. Racial discrimination of this nature cannot be allowed to happen again.

I?ve been going to this sainsburys for the past 2 years everyday I?ve always had amazing service. The security guy is really nice.Unfortunately today I had a very bad encounter with the lady at the till, it was around 20:50. On my way out she started shouting ?excuse me excuse me you didn?t pay? when I went back in and asked what happened she said ?oh nothing? well thank you for embarrassing me for no reason.

Always friendly staff. Small shop but decent prices

Bit of a cramped store, the staff were shouting at each other across the store and the security guard seems to think every individual was stealing. Other than that I got what I wanted.

I lost my phone and the lovely people at Sainsbury's Old York Road found it and kept it for me. Phew

Very small local store but suitable for quick pop-in`s. Usually, I get here a snack before or after work: cookies, crackers or something like these. For these type of products it`s a prefect choice and very convenient.

It's generally open from 7 to 11 so it should really be called.......... It sells the basics and is just around the corner so works for me. Warning: the croissants on the window are nowhere near the actual size

Good staff. Stocked shelves. Very cramped but this is the way with these places. Very useful local shop. Wheelchair accessible.

Great service by the lady who spoke about her son. Very bubbly and cheerful and strength was conveniently laid out and had everything I need.

Passing by on my way back to Wandsworth Town, I just popped in for a few items.
The store was a lot better stocked than my local at Kew Bridge usually is.
I found plenty of decent quality fresh fruit and veg and a couple of other items I needed too.
The store wasn't busy and there wasn't a queue.
I used the staffed checkout, although there is also self checkouts available too.
The lady who served me was pleasant and cheerful which was nice.
The store is fully accessible with an automatic door. Aisles are a little narrow, but again better than my local.
Above average Sainsbury's Local.

Sainsburys Localâ??s are always hit and miss but this one seems to be a permanent miss. Stock is poor and replenishment seems to happen rarely if ever.

If you're looking for a decent nights sleep don't buy 1-2 litres of blue bolt zero from here or anywhere. We also bought 4 cans of hipster beer for £6.50. That's more expensive that stealing them but cheaper than paying a fine for stealing them if you get caught and arrested so we decided to use the human till rather than the robot one to pay. We left in a white benz, as per.

The staff donâ??t have a clue, spend most of the time speaking non English to each other and if you ever ask them â??do you have....â? they say no and you usually end up stumbling across it yourself. I recently asked If they sold Christmas cards and an assistant said no, I later found a huge display hidden behind a pillar full of Christmas cards.
