What a joke of a place. Bought a jacket (£30) and a wallet (£20) in there the other day went home and tried the jacket on only to find the original receipt for £10!! I over paid £20 for a jacket that costed a tenner. Found out the wallet was brand new online for £15! Returned both the next day. I don't know who comes up with the prices but they're ridiculous and if it wasn't a charity shop - I'd boycott.

Nice stock but the prices are a joke, I don?t know who the target market is but people come to charity shops in areas like this hoping to get more affordable good quality second hand clothes and this shop was totally over priced that it was offensive to be honest, during cost of living crisis and they?re selling coats for £75, basic high street T-shirts for £12 or a ramekin for £5. They?d make more money for the deserving cause if they were more reasonably priced.

Was the best charity shop for books in SE London until a few weeks ago. With the refurb and new branding they have reduced the book section to a third and stuck it into a corner which means only a max of 3 people can browse at once. Loads of empty space in the middle. They've taken out half the stock of clothes as well. No doubt will be putting up prices as the turn over of stuff will be lower plus no doubt less people will bother coming as less stock to find something. Really don't know why they had to change a good thing. I don't choose where I shop by having nice branding.... The stock and pricing and the cause are the important things. Also someone is going to get their arm wrenched when trying to enter the shop as they've put privacy glass in and one cannot tell if there is someone else on the other side of the door ..PS lovely volunteers, but you've lost a customer that spends £20 to £30 on books every month or so.

Absolutely ridiculous that in 2024 with fast fashion problems, child/human slavery, the cost to eat and live let alone clothe yourself and/or family and our disgusting pollution and waste problems, St Christopher?s can even comprehend charging £20 for a Zara tee, £70 for heavily worn trainers and £4 for chipped items! Everything is so overpriced I?m wondering if it?s a joke?I have been trying to do my contribution to protect the planet and stop other humans from being exploited by buying 2nd hand clothing, books and toys for myself and my family locally and supporting a good cause at the same time. Pretty much all of the items in store are unfortunately cheaper to buy brand new.Absolutely shocking and ridiculous but then again not so shocking considering greed and waste is how the planet is in the problem it?s in, it?s a never ending circle really?

Outrageous prices for tat. £4.50 for a cracked plate, badly glued together, and £3.50 for a dish that came in a Sainsbury's tapas meal, printed with "Taste the Difference." I'm not even sure the meal that came in cost £3.50! Clothes from supermarket and fast fashion brands for more than retail price, very used coats from undistinguished brands for £65+. I can't imagine anyone buys this stuff.

They desperately need to lower the prices to stop losing customers. I go in there for a browse and a laugh because the pricing is so ridiculous - never end up buying and always end up shopping in the other great charity shops on the street instead (which are much more reasonably priced). For example, you can pick up a normal jacket in there labelled £60. I tried on a pair of shoes the other day with no label. I asked a staff member and they said £150!!!! I searched for the same pair online and you could buy them new for the same price. The price tags seem completely unjustified and not in line with charity shop prices. When you can buy new or on Vinted for less you know there?s an issue.

rude service from ALL members of staff! Highly overpriced rubbish! Even if the prices were reduced by 3/4 I wouldn't return here on principle - they don't deserve my money!

I cannot believe how insanely, naive and obnoxiously over-priced the vinyl singles are now. There was a time when I enjoyed thumbing my way through the record collection and finding a memorable single from my childhood in the region of £1. Honestly, it's actually cheaper to go to a record shop where at least they price everything according to a grading system and you're guaranteed it plays fine!

Capably organised, reasonably displayed, tidy and spacious.Unlikely to challenge expectations with reasonable prices and staff attuned to the conventions of appearing busy.

Overpriced and insensitive staff. I was very distressed as I urgently needed the toilet, after working in the morning but staff member acted as though I was a dangerous woman, stepping away from me and telling me that it?s only for staff and ushering me outside. I was in my care uniform too, so it is inconsiderate for a charity shop centralised around care to have a member of staff treat a care worker like this. It?s meant to be a charity! Avoid!

Such a fab charity shop! Loads to choose from and the staff were really friendly :)

£3.50 for a second hand mug?? Really, honestly, and truly far too expensive for a charity shop. It's not helping those in need of help in the Community. Seems very money hungry. Not charitable.

Had a really bizarre experience today when donating a bag of items. I placed these down at the back as usual. A blonde woman comes straight over and picks up my bag and asks what is in it. I tell her just a book, some ornaments and mens shoes. She then gives me what I can only describe as a clear dirty look. So I asked what it was for as I have just come to donate to the store. She replies 'well obviously' while still leafing through my items in the bag. I was so shocked being spoken to like that. I told her it was rude of her and left and won't be back to donate or buy. Been going for two years and donating regularly, so today was really disappointing and unnecessary.
