It's a good shop for arts and craft stuff and maybe the odd bargain or two in kitchenware, toiletries etc. However like most stores now staff are scarce, stressed and can be very unhelpful here. But that is more a sign of the times. I find that by going to more independent shops or family businesses I get a lot better service. The price for this may be more expensive but I will just purchase less for a better service.

Need more options on the toy section, but besides that, you get your typical pound store items, classic

I love poundland but unfortunately, less and items are anywhere near a pound since lockdown and Brexit! The cost of products has unfortunately gone up everywhere recently, and poundland has obviously had to follow suit. However, they are still cheaper than most on most products. The only downside is that stock of products seems to be suffering as well! I have noticed a definite decrease and lack of certain products that once were plentiful on the poundland shelves. I have noticed that prices on certain products go up in increments of 25p every so often, for example 1 jumbo roll of super absorbent kitchen town used to be £1 before lockdown, it is now over £1.50 and rising! Alkaline batteries are double the price, and household cleaning products are all increasing in price as well.Again, they are still cheaper than most other retailers, but not by much anymore. Unfortunately I have gone in only to find a lot of empty shelves for certain products, and asking the staff when something will be back in stock is pointless because that is all taken care of centrally from head office! The local stores have no say in what is popular nor what needs to be restocked. As a customer, I can't rely on anything being in stock, or even being restocked if they run out, so if find myself just buying from other retailers.

Called Poundland but half the stuff is more than a pound so some false advertising here. Has a bit of everything but no staff to help, they always run out of plastic carriers and the til staff are non existent

Poundland is a well stocked and user friendly store that makes shopping both enjoyable and efficient. The aisles are neatly arranged with a wide assortment of products, ensuring that shoppers can easily locate their desired items. The store layout is designed for effortless navigation, making it a breeze to find everything you need. For a budget friendly shopping experience that doesn't compromise on organization or convenience, Poundland is an excellent choice.
