Insanely understaffed - they seem to go on breaks through the busiest parts of the day. Ridiculous wait times.

EDIT. One year on and it would be remiss not to raise this from 1* to 3*. Service has improved a lot and staff have been very polite and friendly last few visits. I commend them turning it around and it?s not lost on me that the pandemic did jam a stick in the spokes of most businesses.\\nOLD?\\nThe absolute pits. Staff are slow and rude, barely acknowledging people waiting in the queue and frequently sit typing away without any communication as people stand and wait unsure as to what is going on. Comparing them to all other POs I have used in SE London they rank bottom by a long shot. Use Catford or Honour Oak. Far quicker and staff are polite and use eye contact.

Honestly if I could give this place no stars I would. When it?s busy there?s never more than one person working, whereas at quiet times there?s two. Make it make sense. Full of sour faces and a complete lack of service. Please just hire more people. It?s insane. Waiting an hour in a queue to do something that?ll take a couple minutes tops is ridiculous.

This is a locally known fact but posting it here so perhaps some action can be taken. The customer service here is terrible. Staff are often rude address you using a tone of annoyance, and are very unhelpful. I only use to this post office because I have to, and try to avoid it most of the time.

The other day when I was here I waited for half an hour and the queue did not move at all. I asked why it didn't move and the lady who worked there told me it was because a customer had a query about a phone number that they were dealing with. This is completely unacceptable, the staff should have asked the lady so come back later or to phone up to deal with her query. Very slow and badly trained staff. I recommend you give your staff more training or rehire suitable staff who know how to manage a busy post office.
