Big, light spacious branch. Two ATMs. Like many other Banks I experience, the counter employees seem to feel they are their for their own benefit and seem to do everything except engage with the customers queueing in front of them. Cutomers seem to be an inconvenience. Out of 5 posts only 3 were manned while 10 customers were queueing.

The worst bank ever . this chev calls himself a manager all he looks for is an excuse to not help you and makes his own rules to refuse serving you just because he does not like you.

The staff there are very unprofessional. They just enjoy having personal conversations whilst customers are waiting to be served. The service is below any standard. Customer satisfaction is at there button of there too do list. I?ve only got a basic account and because of that they look their noses down at you. I felt embarrassed and walked out after reading Starling bank had better customer service and services.Use you card in the EU they say with no fees in most parts. Starling bank offer me a card that I can use around the world for free and their customer service is excellent. Best investment was to walk out of metro reading their own poster whom provided the best service. After reading several google reviews I ignored them but then realised actually metro bank has the poorest of poorest engagements.

Awful staff. Went with my friend who wanted to change his name on his account via deed poll, and upon being called into a meeting he was told that an unenrolled deed poll is not valid enough to do so (this is not true). Not only that, the staff member clearly stated that he did not know enough about this subject but refused to help any further regardless - and after saying he would ask his manager for help, he walked over and started laughing at my friend as if he was stupid and misgendered him. He also insinuated that it shouldn?t be so easy for anyone to change a name, as well as inappropriately comparing my friend?s situation to his (saying that if he were to change his name, he would have to be mad to). After going to a different (better) branch, my friend managed to change his name with the help of nicer staff. Do not waste your time at this specific Metro Bank - if the manager himself is unprofessional enough to laugh with his colleagues at an undeserving client, that should say enough about the place in general.

I have found the staff very helpful & polite, branches open until 18:00 hrs.i would recommend Metro bank to everyone .

ATM on the front of store swallows bank cards which don't have raised lettering (new ones).Staff completely apathetic and just say 'contact bank for new card'.Massive inconvenience and ended up with now way of getting home without my contactless payment card

Worst bank ever. Almost every time I go there are problems. To see your safety deposit box, can take an hour. But today was my Worst day, that I wanted to close my account altogether.I was told to take seat by the lady at the counter. I expected a wait as it was Saturday afternoon. But when 45 minutes later , the lady who told me to take a seat walked past me I asked " Do you know how much longer till I see someone?" She replied with " what are you here for. " to wait is one thing, but to see I was not even acknowledged is a disgrace.

Yodael, after being to a few of your store. I went to Fulham branch and had the best experience so far since joining with a staff member called Yodael. What a gem of a staff member you have. He was so helpful polite and genuinely helpful to my situation. I can not recommend him enough. Totally happy with my experience yesterday in branch and blessed to have had such a bright and helpful experience. Thank you

Do not open account with Metro bank. Absolutely disgusting bank, worst I?ve ever seen or heard. They steal the funds in your account, day light robbery at its peak. Karma will get back to them one day I pray.

Misinformed about safety box for number of years now. Overcharged on more than one occasion. And not much from the store manager either. Avoid if you have other options available

Absolutely shocked at the discrimination experienced and way we were spoken to in the Fulham Broadway Metro branch.My wife, who has been banking with Metro for 7 years popped in today to open a new account + card. The cashier Nathan said they can't do it because, in his words, "obviously you are russian".I cannot imagine the outrage if he had said this to somebody of a different skin colour as a reason for not opening their account - so why is it acceptable to be outright xenephobic?I've checked the policy of metro in regards to the economic sanctions and have seen that discretion is to be advised when processing transactions and opening new accounts for russian nationals. I do not see how simply opening a new card to separate our joint spending, whilst banking there for 7+ years, would be any threat to metro bank's duties in adhering to the law in regards to the sanctions. Discretion was not exercised here - xenephobia was.The way Nathan just outright discriminated based on race/ethnicity, and the way he spoke is absolutely disgusting, and we've raised a complaint with Metro to hopefully get this resolved.Don't support this bank - there are plenty of other banks in Fulham Broadway that are welcoming to all people, no matter their country of birth.
