I'm 31 and was just refused to buy a bottle of wine because of no ID. Please re-train your staff so they can better judge people's age. I'm nowhere near 18 and definitely look older than 25. Absolutely ridiculous.

Sainsbury's staff really shouldn't smoke at the entrance especially in uniform, also products on offer rarely in stock - very poor customer service, have been pushed out the way for them to put stock on the shelves, basic manners and customer service missing from the staff - also shoplifters paradise, staff never at the front of the shop, security normally playing games on their mobiles near the back of the store

Shop packed, staff refused to open cash tills, was told only self service working - avoid if your in a hurry or if you want to leave the shop today because the queues are 10 people long

Staff rude and dismissive of my complaints when they were, in the end, the ones in the wrong. One younger lady who works there however was very lovely.

Does quite well considering the small size. Staff are friendly, but overworked, so don't blame them. And it's a Local, so expect essentials and a few treats only.

The worst customer service I have received from that place . Basically the managment it isn?t helpful and seems racist . It?s not first time I?m receiving bad customer service from there . But today went too far . One of the employee was trying to help me by checking my details to collect my parcel from there and the manager in black suit came and she asked rudely to the employee to help other customer instead of wasting his time . And she took my details and what she did she went did completely different thing . She was stocking up the shelf and making me wait more than 10 minutes . No one was coming around to help me and I went there to complain, like what is happening , anyone will bring my order ?There has been other times I went there to buy some items and I?ve been ignored and served in the end , even if I would be waiting first to be served .I don?t recommend you to go there , it?s like they got issues with some sort of people . I haven?t been rude or done anything wrong and I?ve been treated like thatBy the way the lady that was the manager and was rude she was dressed in black , and seemed European.

Customer service...non existent.....Staff are either chatting away on their headsets, and not in English... or they are asking you to move out of the way so they can grab items or put stock on the shelf!!!!

Disgusting service, I?ve been waiting 15 mins at the self-check out and no one came to help me. Staff is very unhelpful, so at the end of the day they didn?t served me. Absolutely not recommended place.

Make sure you double check the BBD of items from here beforehand. I didn't and I ended up buying a loaf of bread that was one day out of date - blegh!

One of the staff memebers called "Jamal" always treated us in a humiliation way. In this visit I picked up an item. the price was on promotion, from £2.00 reduced to 1.40p. The Cashir asked me to verify the price because the scan showed the full price. I then went to double check the discounted red ticket just underneath the item and told the Cashir that the ticket was clearly shows £1.40. Jamal was standing on a side and heard us talking. He then told the Cashir he would go and check the price. He then went to the item location and sneakly removed the discounted red ticket and then accused me of being lying. I called the store manager and asked him to check the camera and see how Jamal had moved the ticket and pretended he did not do anything. I also told the manager that Jamal was always unhelpful. In my previous visit I was with my 8 months pregnant wife and I was holding my toddler and asked him for help in scanning the items. He never helped us and asked me to go to the self service. I needed some help in some items that were not scanning. he showed a sign of ignorance then he went to help everyone else and left me and my family to be the last customers in store begging for help. All of his disrespectful manner towards me and my family started few weeks ago when he was a cashir and once made a mistake of £6.20p but insisted he was right but the manager refunded the wrong amount but Jamal was feeling arrogance and cannot admit he made a mistake. Since then we try to not go shopping if he is there. I have been a customer for almost ten years but because of Jamal I will never visit my beloved local sainsbury's store next to where I live.

If you are buying tobacco, double check what the staff give you. I'm now stuck with 25g of Amber leaf instead of American Spirit. Grr.
