Sainsbury in Dalston in shopping mall is offering unsafe, very narrow entry doors that is also exit doors. This creates great discomfort in movement. The solution is not considering people on wheelchairs, crutches etc. moving in and out. Previous wide entry is covered in crates. Sainsbury is putting people at risk by creating this narrow entry/exit!

Annoyingly, no trollies were available in the middle of the day on Saturday! I could not shop as I wanted as I had to carry a basket (without wheels), so I was limited in what I could carry with a hidden disability. No staff to ask either!

One of the worst supermarkets in Hackney. Has gone downhill massively in the last year. No shopping trolleys, barely any wheelie baskets. They keep blaming Ridley Market stallholders for stealing the trolleys. so PUT SECURITY TAGS ON THEM! They've removed ALL the staffed tills so the disabled and elderly are really struggling. Very few friendly staff left, probably because they're all fed up with customers complaining. I've been a customer since the old store next to Kingsland Station in 1983. Not any more. Are you deliberately running down this store, Sainsburys?

Sainsbury?s have removed all the tills and trollies. What the heck are you thinking? Parents with buggies, the elderly and anyone less than able finds it impossible to do their shop - navigating the aisles dragging multiple baskets across the floor. It?s discriminatory, not to mention counter-productive commercially. We put two boxes of beers back as we couldn?t fit them in our tiny baskets. Good luck trying to do your Xmas shop. Or not - we?ll be doing ours at Morrisson?s.

Grim. People are getting quite distressed at not being able to manage the checkouts themselves. Huge queue at 12 noon today.I Never have a good experience shopping here now. It's all far too fiddly and confusing. Not enough cash checkouts and you are treated like a criminal when leaving.Go to Aldi. The price is the price and that's it. No phone; no Smart Shop; no confusing pricing.I can only presume that the person who thought up this mess, never goes into a shop.Is there any way of speaking to someone about this?Anyone with power is hiding from customers.I think I would too.....

Would give zero if I could. Nowhere near enough staff to deal with the rubbish all self scan system

Shopped here for years, won?t be going to Sainsbury?s again. The conversion to self checkout only has caused chaos in the store. Staff are running around with no idea how to manage the flow of people and queues now extend throughout the entire shop so it?s pointless popping in for a couple of items

I hate the fact that they have onlyself-service checkouts, it's so inconvenient now, waiting in a never ending queue, especially if you have small children, carer or disabled, etc. I used too like this sainsbury, now I will be going elsewhere for my shopping.

Local sainsburys - staff sometimes send you to wrong part of store for items or extended wait times. Regardless they have all the essentials and you can also do click and collect which is a plus.

Their shelves are not restocked regularly on fairly basic food stuff. The cigarette/customer service is always understaffed and the security staff are off putting. Staff seem very unsatisfied in their job and try their best but look so unhappy. I only go here because its the nearest sainsburys to me.

if youre of an ethnic minority, avoid this place, the first time i went in to the store i picked up a couple items and put them in my basket and realised i didnt have my wallet so i put the basket back down to go to my car and grab my wallet, but when i put my basket down i was approached by a European security guard, who told me hes been following me around the store and he knows what i am doing and i need to get lost or hell take me to the back of the store and beat me up. i was very confused and a little scared as im not sure what he was talking about. i left the store without my items as i felt violated. weeks later i have gone back and i was followed around the store by another security guard, not the same person but another european guy who stopped me on my way out and asked to check my reciept. this is racial profiling at its finest and

Darker, drabber, with snugger aisles than it used to have, and only one or two humans running registers. But still basically a good supermarket, with reasonably good selection, and good own-brand products. Nice selection of free-from offerings, as well.Watch for their Aldi price matches!

I regularly visit Sainsbury's in Kingsland Shopping Centre and find the staff to be helpful. Lorene in particular is always cheerful and a joy to be around, she makes shopping a very pleasant experience for myself and other customers.

This sainsbury's is fairly decently stocked most of the time, with a good enough selection. But getting out of the store is horrible. The tills often have really long lines, the self-checkouts are a mess. There is no room, not enough staff to help as the machines need constant verification and then you have to scan your receipt to even leave.
