“Best shop in this area. And staff is always nice and friendly. Products are very good, but of course less choice than in the big Waitrose. And the new design of the shop has improved it a lot. Only pet food is better nearby.”

“Considering how busy the store must be after 5 my order was completed and handed over to the Uber Eats courier quite quickly and the shopper showed great attention to detail.”

“Sainsbury's Hammersmith is one of the smaller stores. It is located in what used to be King's Mall shopping centre, now called the Livat Centre. Entering the store finds the Kiosk to the left, or to the right through barrier gates to the shopfloor. Fruit and veg are found first. All laid out nicely with all produce looking very good. Usual range of Sainsbury's and supplier branded items. Level of stock at 2.30 pm (June 2023) was good throughout the store. Wide range of chilled and frozen goods. Some locally produced bakery items noted. The far end of the store from the entrance / exit has cleaning and washing products. Surprisingly the store also has a good selection of books and magazines, which puts my local large stores to shame. Only one cashier line was manned on my visit with a large self-scan area. A few small trolleys were available, but this store predominately caters for basket shoppers. Car parking (chargeable) is available on Upper levels of the Mall. Noticeable were the number of contact Security Guards, counting at least four, with irregular patrols across the whole shopfloor. Sainsbury's staff were pleasant and helpful. Good to pick up things for a meal / replenishment but a large shop might expose the depth of the range. The store can be accessed by a number of TfL bus routes along King Street; London Underground stations (2) at Hammersmith covering the Circle / Hammersmith and City Lines and the District / Piccadilly Lines. All within a few minutes walk.”

“It is super useful because, even if it is a small supermarket, it is open for many hours especially on Sunday morning when other bigger supermarkets are still closed.”

“I wanted to share my opinion about the employees and the manager who has been giving us a donation for every fair over the years. He is a nice and helpful person. He has never refused to help. Thank you very much!”
