Long queues despite shop being quiet. Staff won't serve you at the tills making you queue to use the self service machines, but they do have people standing around to pressure you to get an H&M card. Nice clothes but not a good experience.

On the three occasions I?ve visited this store the staff refuse to serve you. Once we asked a member of staff if someone was available to jump on tills as there was a queue of 10 people. Their reply was to use self check out, older customers do not know how or want to use self check out. Despite multiple members of staff on the floor, no one helped. They even make you find your own item when swapping damaged clothing at returns.

A huge respect to two girls at the tills today, who despite the technical issues and being verbally and physically attacked by some crazy woman remained calm and extremely professional. Staff at the fitting rooms also lovely. Store clean and organised

If you're going to have plants in a shop, it would be nice if they weren't literally on their last legs.... It takes 5 minutes to water them 2-3 times a week. Sort it out!

Store is nice and spacious. However customer service is lacking. Enquired about sizes for a jacket and a lady with glasses immediately said there was no availability without checking the store or the system. Subsequently asked about the same jacket on a mannequin as it looks to be the size I was looking for, and was told I cannot buy it. I don?t understand how a clothing store would refuse to sell clothes, surely it would be a simple matter of switching out the jacket for a same jacket of a different size on the mannequin?!

WARNING PICKPOCKET CIRCULATING IN H&M (HAMMERSMITH)!!A few weeks ago (November 2022) I decided to go to H&M to browse products on display, after I had been to Boots across the road.I was not browsing in the shop for very long. As I went to the self-checkout till to pay for a cardigan I had chosen, I realised that someone had stolen my brand new phone which was located in my (locked) handbag. When I reported the incident to members of staff, they were absolutely incompetent, incredibly dismissive and unsympathetic. It was apparent they had not been trained to deal with such an event.I was in shock as I had not had the chance to insure my phone. I sensibly looked around the store and went back to Boots where a lovely security officer showed me the CCTV footage confirming I had placed my phone in my handbag and locked it after I paid for my items at Boots.At that point I had no doubt the theft occurred in H&M. I was made aware by the same Boots security officer of a pickpocket circulating in H&M (he told me this has had happened several times and this was common knowledge and known to H&M?).I returned to H&M and interrogated a young member of staff who eventually confirmed and disclosed having knowledge of a thief operating in their store! When I spoke to another member of staff, a rude short lady with long hair, she very poorly attempted to divert the blame onto the whole of Hammersmith. I was told to speak to another member of staff (tattooed male with longish dark hair) to complete the incident report. That person was also useless. I was denied access to the CCTV footage following a formal verbal subject access request as I present in the footage which constitutes personal data.I find it extremely shocking that H&M in Hammersmith have full knowledge of a pickpocket circulating in their store yet, have not placed any warning notice at the entrance of the shore to warn other innocent customers or taken any preventative security measures having full knowledge of the issue.Update as of 26.12.2022The Police had an ID with regards to the potential thief however, due to H&M failing to disclose the original CCTV footage to the Police, and keeping a copy of the original CCTV footage, as requested by the Police, the Police had no choice but to close their investigations. I forwarded a copy of the email from the Police to H&M but they could not care less.***DO NOT SHOP IN H&M HAMMERSMITH AS THEY ALLOW THEFT ON PREMISES, DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AND DO NOT CO-OPERATE WITH THE POLICE.***

I was watching this situation today, on Black Friday, for over 10 minutes while staying in the queue. There are 2 gates to the store. Only the one where security guy was standing was beeping for every customer leaving the store with a purchase and security guy was either thoroughly checking a customer or superficially or just letting go. He never found a beeping thing at any purchase, so it all was just a theatrical performance which is not his fault at all, I'm not complaining about a security guy. I am complaining about H&M top management: that instead of investing in a cameras and security officers checking cameras H&M top management decided to humiliate every customer leaving the shop with a purchase. It's cheaper to check every bag.I was thoroughly checked when leaving store so that at one point my loungewear fell on the floor. And after that I was supposed to leave the store as a happy customer. I obviously returned everything back and was complaining to the manager. From his words I understood that it was not a technical glitch, so everyone knew what's going on and I was supposed to eat it and digest it. I think we as a society must not tolerate it as otherwise in the future we all will be living in this mess where everyone can stop and search us.
