Frequent changes to the opening hours are really unhelpful. At the time of writing, it?s open 0800 to 1000 most days, according to the notice on the wall, but not according to the info here? I don?t know how this is helpful to people who work nights, or early shifts. It also means making special trips to collect parcels, rather than being able to make it part of running other errands on way to or from the office, for instance.

Absolutely shocking opening hours. I thought it must be an error but no they are indeed closed after 10am! Terrible. No point having an office.

Very poor opening hours, service is often slow with a queue. The old gentleman behind the desk while being relatively friendly cannot answer basic questions when it comes to refunds or delivery. I had to personally update the opening times myself, because the staff/management could not be bothered to do it.

This place is a joke! Constantly reducing opening hours and never update the Royal mail website or Google listing with correct hours!!! So many wasted trips, it's a joke!

I need to inform others that one of the items from my package, which was delivered by a Royal Mail van last week at around 10:30 am on Tuesday 02/05/2023, was stolen during transit. I don't hold the sorting office responsible, but it's important to be aware of this issue. The thief had the nerve to deliver the package, leave it on my hallway table, take a photo of the well-sealed package, take the package back after a few seconds with one item missing, and then return it, badly opened, so that they could post a picture on the Royal Mail website as an unopened package. This behavior is completely unacceptable and disgraceful. I hope that Royal Mail identifies the person responsible for this delivery and takes appropriate action.

You can find many displays of various opening times, but the true opening times are sprawled on a peace of paper and taped to the inside of the window of a side door.

The post office in this country is a joke. They work on reduced times and still go on strike demanding more money. Lazy employees hiding behind a union that won?t even do the basics of their job. Disgusting.

The delivery guy didn?t deliver to my house and left a note that I wasn?t at home. I tried to re schedule the deliver and the next day available is the 29 of November. I needed this parcel today. I asked my boyfriend to go collect it as the timing is 8am-2pm and I?m working at that time. The office is closed due to strike and they didn?t mention it on the paper they gave us. Ridiculous. So now I need to wait 3 more days to have my parcel that I needed today.

Post office very dated. Card machine not working. Current staff member should have retired years ago. Needs a refresh.
