Very bad experience.I have to open a currency account.Online is not possible. And on the website suggest to go to the branch.Now, the branch in Watford is closed. Therefore, I took 1/2 day of vacation (they open at 9.30) to go to Harrow.In Harrow I was said that I need to take an appointment via Customer Service...A champion of inefficiency. Thanks Barclay's

In the dishonest age we live in its better to get a bank to pay large amounts of money such as transfers to other accounts or pay HMRC.Barclays bank in Harrow does that really well and is far safer than you trying to do this yourself.....where the chances of being scammed are extremely high. This is very much the safe option and the staff upstairs who carry out this function are very efficient and delightful.

Super helpful staff and excellent service. It's a busy branch with long queues, but they went out of their way to help. Five stars well deserved.

Hardly any of the cash machines working,staff clueless.Queued for nearly 15 minutes to use one and rude staff member had a go at me when I had a go at a woman who just pushed in the queue.Will make a complaint about her to head office

Ridiculous service. We went to the bank to get some documents verified and we were just sent back by a rude staff member near the door. This a service every bank provides to their customers but the lady never let us speak to anyone else and we just had to walk out

Ridiculous wait times. Plenty of staff to help enforce compliance of using their machines. Plenty of people struggling to using the machines, even with staff in hand. This looks to be the main cause for wait times. No one cares, as long as we comply to their will. Thank you Barclays

clown working in this bank wasted my 3 hours 26oct went to bank to transfer my own money to my own other bank which gives more interest on saving and this clowns take piss i knew they will create fuss because i am transferring everything to other bank they block my app they block account they block everything i was in bank my self with id still they don't help at all all clown pathetic service they pretend to work but they lazy staff non helpful i phone call center 2 times to make complain and they do not take complaints they on phone not helpful so 3 time i phone call center they say want to talk to staff and brand staff says we dont talk on phone i was like football 3 hours my Bp went hi my heart rate was 123 oh lord AVOID THIS BANK AT ANY COST THEY WILL DRIVE YOU MADi think they do it purposefully because rating wise they @ bottom in customer service and digital new age baking taking all top places they want to keep all money they have in branch to gain overnight interest ONLY they will harass you so u keep your money in bank they will stop you all way under name of protecting you and your money and your interest whole point is to NOT to move your money from Barclays for overnight interestNOT GOOD BANK not good staff no helpful staff i talk every member of staff for simple help you can check in cctv upstairs and downstairs 3 time worst day in my life going to this bank

My card and ID got destroyed in a house flood and I had no way of either depositing or withdrawing my money. A wonderful, superb member of staff, Liz Fowler, came to my aid last Monday and showed me how I could deposit without my card. I returned today and not only did she help me and put my mind at ease, she remembered me. That just goes to show that Ms Fowler is one of the finest representatives for Customer Service. Thank you.

Really unhelpful staff. The lady at the counter was sending everyone away by saying they don't have any capacity to fit anyone for walk in service. After getting a ph call from business relationship manager, suddenly she found a slot for me. I waited there for an hour just get my id verification. After an hour the, lady took 25minutes just to scan and email my id doc. Definitely need more staff and training to provide better customer service.

Absolutely terrible service. I went to withdraw some money the lady at the counter was helpful and concerned when I told her I wasn't well. The lady at the door told me to wait outside on the bench as they were closing. I said was not waiting out there with money. I think she would have thrown me out if that was possible. They really need yo up their service as at the moment

I always find that the staff at Barclays Harrow are very helpful, & quick.My Dad is housebound & has a lot of cheques come through which I pay in for him. That part is really quick, & I have learnt now NOT to go in on a Saturday at all. I save them until I am off from work but never go in between 11.30am to 2pm weekdays as business people are doing their banking & the queue is backed up. I either go before 11am or wait until after 2.30pm.What is silly though is the amount of staff just hanging around with their iPads asking if we need help. The last time I went in there were 3 of them standing by the entrance to the tills, I had to ask them to move out of the way so I could join the queue (2 in the queue) for the cashier.All I hope is that this branch doesn't go the way of Pinner & Uxbridge where they have more ATMs to pay cheques in. I used them at both branches & it takes 3 times as long, also I got stuck as one cheque didn't want to go through so had to ask a member of staff who had the same problems. In the end I had to go to the cashier to do it! Waste of time....Not sure why it?s saying my review was posted 3 weeks ago, when it was actually in July 2016. My Dad passed away in 2018 so I had to visit Harrow branch to sort out his finances / close his accounts.I haven?t been inside a bank since 2021, when I used Pinner Barclays, but that closed a year ago. I did also go to South Harrow Barclays a couple of times, but that?s now closed down.So now I use the Barclays App & if I need cash I go to ATMs which are inside shops or other banking establishments (never use an ATM which is outside!)

Popped in this morning to do a CHAPS payment. We couldn't be seen immediately but returned 1.5hrs later when the branch had the availability for us to be seen by a staff member. We were seen by Caroline Gallagher who was absolutely fantastic. It is immediately apparent that she has worked for the bank for decades. Her customer service skills are invaluable - she has a wonderful, friendly manner, is precise and patient. We promised to give her a rave review and this is it - well deserved in a day and age where the customer service bar is set lower and lower. Caroline's service is impeccable. We feel blessed to have seen her today. TOP NOTCH Caroline??
