Hsbc don't really care about customers who don't have access to computers or broadband. They'd rather make their face-face service so unacceptably poor, that it will drive those specific customers to other banks . Then they'll use the excuse that no-one goes to branches anymore so that they can close the branches and make their staff redundant. Just 2 clerks to serve their customers in Harrow town centre ridiculously inadequate. If only I could trust the system to make switching to a better bank non-problematic, I'd be gone in a blink of an eye.

After closing branch after branch, they are bringing even more frustration.The branch is open for just seven hours daily. They should handle refurbishments during their closed hours rather than cutting their limited operating hours even shorter. It's frustrating for customers.

I went in to the branch to update my details and was told to go shopping and wait for a call and then come back as no advisor is available. I've never experienced anything like this before. There was about 4 staff walking around talking and no one could take few mins to update a simple detail. I left and opened a current account with the Metro Bank within 15mins I had everything done and my bank card in hand. I get a call an hour later from HSBC asking me if I want to now come in. I will be looking to close my account as I opened a new one with my new details and ready for my salary payments. If you are looking to open a new current account I would advise you to visit Metro Bank or any other banks.

I had the pleasure of having Manisha Chavda carry out a CHAPS Payment for me this morning. She is such a credit to HSBC. It is absolutely apparent that she has decades of experience - she's so welcoming, immediately friendly, patient, talkative, efficient and precise. Such a refreshing encounter that made my day.The customer service bar seems to be set so low these days, across industries, so it was wonderful to meet someone who isn't just doing their job but who excels at it and takes great pride and genuine pleasure in doing so.Branch banking isn't what it was across the industry but I'd made an appointment in advance via telephone banking and was seen with 5mins of arriving. I was in and out in 30mins, leaving so pleasantly surprised and happy to have had someone like Manisha. Credit where it's due - she's a fantastic Customer Service Representative.

Long queue and waited 20 minutes for a cashier to become free.Too many people take up cashier's time when they should be talking to an adviser.

No star such a worst bank ever no helping customer. Worst customer service if they does not want to help customer why they keep branch open staff is totally lying to customer. Giving false inform. Making wait for 2 hours for 30 minutes work .

Can?t wait when HSBC will be online only, I?m sure robots will be more helpful than robotic employees without customer skills
