Your average Costcutter store. I visited this branch due to Go Fest.Pros: A decent range of food is available in a clean store. Not selling items over the RRP. It is located near Brockwell Park and Herne Hill Station.Cons: Some items without a labelled RRP are a bit expensive, but most items have a labelled RRP, and when they are more expensive, the items are only marginally more expensive. Plus, the prices aren't the worst that I've seen.

Well stocked mini market. Coffee machine, Post Office branch inside is very handy, as you can buy stationary if needed. Wines, beer, fresh vegetables and flowers.

The owner of Costcutter - Herne Hill call Mr Kugan is going extra mile to support the people in his local community.I would like to highlight what Kugan is doing to his locals, he is really trying his best to help his community in any way he can by opening the convenient store and the post office inside his shop during this COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown. He is also helping in a way that some people are asking for them to be delivered as they're old, or disabled, or don't drive. Some shops in the country are putting their prices up at this difficult time but this Costcutter in Herene Hill keeping the price as the same as you would pay in a normal condition. The shop has plenty of stocks for customers.I went to do the shopping the other day and noticed that his staffs are very polite and following the government rules by wearing gloves and masks. The shop also has tape markings on the floor to keep the social distancing.

Standard corner shop with postoffice at the back. Relatively friendly staff. Recently had a bit of spruce up so looks more gentrified but still the same. right next to bus stop and train station so handy for a quick shopping trip en route home or indeed if v you forgot to buy something for a night out. Open v late which is also handy if you are driving as otherwise parking is v restricted in terms of time and availability of spaces.

Recently refurbished the whole store and the post office. The store is much more spacious now and has a decent selection of â??emergencyâ?? consumer goods. The post office has good opening times but the service at the counter is incredibly slow. They also need a better selection of packing materials and a self service counter would be great.

Decent selection but not brilliant prices (despite the shop's name!) and quite a grim shop.
