Happened to overhear the shop assistant (middle aged lady) loudly state to a customer (who seemed like a friend) how it (presumably highgate, or london) would be a great place to live if it weren?t for the Indians and how they are coming all over here but thankfully you can?t see them around the village. Left a sour taste in my mouth as I was not expecting to hear such racist and ignorant statements thrown around proudly in one?s workplace. Will not be visiting this one again unfortunately

If it wasn't for this shop I would be semi naked today. Quite a few of my favourite clothes are from here and when I lived on Highgate High Street I would find something awesome most weekends. They do know their labels and mark things up accordingly but as it's all for charity that's not really a bad thing. As with any charity shop you have to trawl through the tacky weirdness but that's all part of the fun...
