*** What a Service ***Went to the branch yesterday to collect a couple bags of 2p coins to play "penny-up+the-wall" with my granddaughter and also make a small deposit.The counter was not busy, and I don't think there was anyone behind me either. The deposit machines had 2 staff helping customers. One staff member had gloves on, maybe there was a reason, not all disabilities are visible. The other was chewing gum! Maybe he too had a good reason. Anyway, the teller was not too keen to serve me as I'm not a business, corporate etc... customer but she wanted to exchange £1 coin for the 2p bag. I had no coin and hence she had to do the transaction on the account unhappily but she refused to take my deposit and informed me it's the banks deposit to not participate in such transactions at the counter. I said to her ignore the fact that I'm a Premier client but as I'm a disabled customer AT the counter here already & had one transaction done already by her could she not just take my note deposit and serve me? She bluntly refused. Barclays is no longer a One Stop Shop! Where is the Human Element gone from Barclays?....just AI, no HI? I was going to ask to talk to the manager about it but she did not have a name badge on and I could not stand too long due to my disability.Coming to a further serious point, the customer service room there is very open to breach of customer confidentiality. I had reported this on my previous visit to a senior staff member but nothing has happened. When the office is in use, the screen can be seen by customers who are queuing in the foyer and can actually see customer details if they wanted to. This is very dangerous and open to fraudsters obtaining confidential details. All the Branch Manager needs to do is turn the desk round so that the staff's back is against the wall. Very simple AND there is plenty of space to do this even with the printer there. This should be done urgently and ASAP for the sake of protecting your customers and abiding regulatory requirements.It's sad to say AND feel this way, but I'm getting used to being not treated well or with a little adjustment from Barclays as a disabled customer to help me. I'm not asking for a Midas touch treatment or a disabled/Premier counter, just a little human touch. Wake up Area Manager and above, do this right thing for and as your bit in helping the local community.

I went to this branch both my cards weren't working. The lady said the current account card chip isn't working and advised me for replacement which has yet to come. She said the other card is fine despite me saying it doesn't work in any shop or any atm apart from barclays. I am now cardless and have to replace both. Complete was of a visit as I was asked to do in on my app.

Barclays please open a proper branch instead of the Lewisham one as this one is a joke and waste of time and money for the customers

Service can be better, lot of older customers have problems and little help from some of the Staff .Very helpful few of the staff ,on the positive note !

Robert was cheerful and very knowledgable. He made my experience easy and explained the protocol clearly in layman?s terms. It was a nice surprise to see good interpersonal skills and efficient service in such a busy establishment and i am grateful.Amazing service from Leah, really accommodating and went the extra mile for me as i was unwell. This seems to be her standard of practice as she went above board to find alternative seating for an older lady who had back pain and ensured another individual who was clearly struggling was assisted. May i also add she worked well under pressure despite customers being impatient/demanding.

Went to this Lewisham brunch with on the 23/08 at 11:30One of the costumer service being over his phone while people waiting with kids and its was too hotAnd trust me they have no clue to how to do their job, they couldn't help at allThey were just hearing my problems from 1 ear and let it go from the other.I am with Barclays for 14 years and let me tell you this, Barclays is now useless compare to before

I went into the branch to do something that couldn't be done online, and I got told to come back another day as there were too many people waiting.Not ideal considering I made the trip especially, and I no longer have a bank close to me.It's almost like customers still need banks on the High Street...

Awful branch, extremely disorganised. I had booked appointment and made to wait over 1 hour whilst others were seen before me. Terrible branch should dissappear from the high street as its a big joke

After 13 years they randomly closed my account and it is a pain to get the money out of the bank account. This could happen to anyone, get your money out while you can! Dodgy bank, money laundering.

Wait times are due to the amount of customers needing help not the fault of staff. In particular Leah is such a delight with helping out as much as she can, I've had positive experience with her on mutiple occasions and thought her and the staff deserve recognition for the work they do. Take your issues up with barclays for not funding more staff - not with how the staff operate.

Took power of attorney to this branch for my sick dad, bank staff didn't know what to do. They had to contact another department. This is surely down to bad training and bad management. I'm changing my bank and going else where. Plus they have posters on the wall about how well their doing and they scored the lowest out of loads of banks. Just shows you how rubbish they are!!!

Dreadful, they don?t even deserve one star. Absolutely ridiculous bank. Customer service is terrible and awful. They are sluggish and rude. There are no benefit banking with them no matter how long you?ve been with them. My only one regret is ever ever banking with them.
