I have had to depend on this pharmacy for the last 8 years to collect hospital only medication and each time I have to interact with them, I absolutely dread it. The wait times are horrendous and the customer service is disgraceful. There have only been a few times where a collection has gone without a problem. Something needs to change and fast!

They serve customers with a higher number on the ticket/ Just when I came there was a woman complaining that she waited more than 2 hours and she got 1 out of 3 items/ The customer service is at underground level/ Just by asking how long he thinks will it take, I was getting faces, it was past closing time and after asking 3 times he told me 15 minutes more. Just came for one item, and had to wait almost 45 minutes, I guess I'm lucky comparing to others, although I feel it was this "quick" cause was near closing time.

Waited more than 1hr and 20 mins for my prescription I think that this an excessive time to wait. Not only that but they dispense other peoples numbers before yours rather than a logical numerical sequence

My grandfather is an Outpatient and is in need of his medication which can only be given to him at this pharmacy. Website says it closes at 7pm however I got there at 5.30pm and it was closed! It's absolutely ludicrous that should be the case particularly as this service is so critical to so many. The boots good standing in its brand is clearly under in jeopardy and on this occasion has let patients in need down!

Phoned chemist who said prescription would be ready in 30 minutes 1hr later it still wasn't ready. Don't tell people there prescriptions will be ready at a set time when they clearly won't be ready. If I could give zero stars I would

Shockingly bad. Waited an hour for ear drops and watched several others enduring ridiculously long waiting times. For a pharmacy in a hospital you would expect some sense of urgency - unfortunately you wont find this here.

I think everyone should give the staff a break! Please remember how many departments there are and how many prescriptions are issued on a daily basis. You cannot rush this process as mistakes will happen. The only advice I would give is to offer if the patient would like their prescription sent to another pharmacy near their home or offer a token. It's the patients choice at the end of the day. I did this and the one particularly lady that I dealt with around 1.30 pm on Friday! She was amazing!!

This Pharmacy is chronically understaffed, disorganised, and chaotic. The counter is usually unattended. Waits of up to one hour are not unusual for prescriptions. Unfortunately OPD prescriptions have to be filed here. Community pharmacies work much better. Disgraceful performance by the tarnished Boots brand

Before I rated Boots pharmacy in Lewisham Hospital I read the previous reviews. Until recently I would have agreed with the negative comments made, as I myself have faced similar issues with the staff their poor customer service, the waiting time... The list could go on.After I made my last complaint regarding the issues I had experienced, I was called for the first time by the new manager who I must say has and still in progress of improving the system, improved waiting time and customer service.I have to go regularly to the hospital and I used to dread going to collect a prescription. But since the new management I have truly seen an improvement in all areas previously mentioned.I hope they keep the new management and the improvements continue so all the patients using the service will have a better experience like me.Management keep up the good work.

After been in hospital for 6 hours was discharged with prescription of antibiotics and steroids went to boot pharmacy and was given a number waited for 2 hours when I finally approached one of staff and ask how long?I'm covid positive shouldn't be here waiting for this amount of time and its says in prescription that I'm covid patient no reply just which number are you? Still waiting now its been more 30 minutes ...No consideration at all

I honestly think that one star is too much for this pharmacy. The staff are clearly so done with their jobs and the demands put on them, that the exasperation of the patients that queue for hours to speak to someone and then wait for hours for their prescriptions, is just disregarded because it is so common. So many patients are then told that the pharmacy doesn't have everything in stock, or that they'll get a phone call to come back at another time (the phone calls never happen, and good luck trying to get hold of anyone that works here on the phone). The hours of my life I've wasted, sat waiting for a prescription only to be fobbed off and made to feel insignificant. The stress knowing that I'll have to come back here and do this all over again, still with no guarantee that I'll be able to get the medication I need. Boots and Lewisham hospital need to do better. The current system is a shambles and you owe your patients, and staff more than this.

I waited more than 2 hours for a pill. I asked to place a complaint and i could not because manager was not there. They say they changed the system and takes longer as they are not used to itLearn how to educate your staff before changing the system. Employees here having snack and just wander atoundBe efficient because today i lost more than 2 hours pay because you are useless

This worker needs to be sacked! The most miserable voice, face and attitude I have ever come across in my life. There are also more reviews regarding this woman?s behaviour. She really does live up to her stereotype.As far as I?m concerned the wages of this job are not high enough to have this attitude.NHS always ask for respect, but they never respect customers. Please tell this barley NVQ qualified girl the attitude is not needed. Typical chav behaviour.

I went to this hospital for the first time as a patient. The Dr from the outpatiance clinic advised me my prescription had been sent to Boots pharmacy. This happoned today. I waited just over 30 minutes, most of the time, no patience were being served and more and more people joined the que. I ended up leaving the prescription there today. Terrible service and no explanation provided to patience. This contract should be awarded to another provider. What use service. If you have a choice of using alternatives compare to this pharmacy, I highly recommend you use someone else. Why is the senior hospital staff not dealing with this.
