My usual store is the Camden branch, which opens late and has excellent customer service.However, I was in Portobello Rd today and decided to go to the H&B store there, opening times 9-7 today -Saturday.I got there at 6.25pm, the lights were off and the oriental lady who worked there was inside, she had her jacket on and was on the phone. I tapped on the door and she turned away, pretending she didnt see me and carried on talking on her phone. So i tapped the door again and she turned around huffing and i pointed at the opening times on the window. The woman huffed and puffed with real attitutude and shouted through the glass, 'we are closed'. I pointed at the opening times sign again, she huffed and turned her head ignored me and carried on with her phonecall. Rude and ignorant. I wont bother coming to this store again.

The shop on Portobello Road works from 9.30-18.30. I missed an hour of my work relying on the wrong information when came to collect my items by 9.00 am.

We went to H&B Portobello on Saturday 4th august, and the shop assistant was very rude. He didn't say hello when we went to pay for the items and he also didn't say goodbye or even look at us.

I went in to get a refund today on an unopened product I bought yesterday. The man told me that he won't be able to do it because the manager was away. I read out the policy at the back of the receipt that states:
"We have a no quibble guarantee. if you're not happy, we're not happy. And we're never not happy. We will give a full refund on unopened goods if returned with a valid purchase receipt within 30 days of purchase".
And they told me they cannot do it. Unfortunately, this it doesn't apply here. AVOID

didnt expect this from holland and barrett and definetly on in central london
left the shop saddened but would not repeat the experince
