Worst customer service that I received in my life from Linda - store manager.I had to return a pair of headphones as they were faulty and she refuse to do so even though we're purchased less than 10 days ago and haven't used them. I told her the fault and she processeded to tell me she has the same ones as hers work perfectly. I told her politely that I didn't come there to ask about the items she s using and I'm my case unfortunately are faulty.She proceeded to tell me that she is recording me (????) and that she will not give me the refund. I had to call customer service in store to make her send another employee to do my refund.After that, I googled this Argos location only to find out that most of the 1 star reviews mentioned her. I wonder how she still has the jobI would love to be contacted by Argos team for more details.

Incompetent manager (Linda), hiding her name tag for obvious reasons. Seems as though her understanding of the terms and conditions are based on her own thoughts and feelings. Please utilise logic.

I am giving this review to open the eyes for peoples who want to work here or apply here . I worked as delivery driver on probation period (temporary contract ). When I asked for permanent contract after one year without any complaints regarding me here they said (Micheal manager ) sorry you are not flexible for work and my contract was terminated . So cheap .

I recently went to exchange an unused laptop however I was met with an awful experience from Linda the store manager. I had to call customer service whilst I was in the store of 34 minutes and they kept calling and Linda refused to answer and then later it turned into ?we don?t have a phone?.Store manager Linda actually wrote her name on a piece of paper for me to complain so guess what, I did complain when I left the store as she was clearly trying to mock me.Correspondence depart contacted me just now and said that apparently Linda told them I did use it! Apart from being completely dismissive and rude she is now lying about customers. She is even the one who took it out the packaging and bag not me!! Argos complaints team are now in a surprise turn of events now refusing me to exchange or return! I am in shock and mortified! Further adding to the distasteful experience I have had with Argos.PLEASE do not shop there at this Holloway Store!Save your money and attend either a completed different store (not Holloway) or use a different franchise like Curry?s where they are more professional, helpful and so not create false narratives and lies about their own customers!! Absolutely shocking.

The woman on shift this morning was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I went to buy FIFA 24 and this woman asked for my ID and stated that I must be over 25 to buy that game ? Fortunately I had my ID with me and I proved that I?m 26, after that she told me the game I was looking for was out of stock I went then in another Argos, the one in Angel, where they gave me FIFA 24 without asking for any ID. Honestly this woman was probably busy doing something and didn?t care about me. She didn?t want to waste her time with a customer. That?s so unprofessional, I came to spend money in there.

My sister and brother in law bought me a MacBook Pro from this store and picked up from Kentish Town Sainsbury , on my birthday when I opened the box , realised the item was second hand and unsealed . the MacBook was placed upside down into an unsealed box and you could see finger prints all over !!! Plug was left in an open and ripped wrapping paper ? Are you kidding me !!! This is stealing people money and causes nothing but embarrassment for people ?. Shame on you !

Collected my Ebay parcel this morning and was greeted by two very charming and pleasant young ladies, Toni & Linda. They were very helpful, cheerful and made my day on such a bleak, dull and rainy day as is today Wednesday. Well done Argos for having such thoughtful and enthusiastic staff. Terry W

On the 22nd of December, I went to place an order but accidentally refreshed the page so the money was taken, but I had not received a email confirmation nor is their any history of my order being made in the order history tab. So I placed the same order again and that went through all fine. I tried to get in contact with customer service to issue me a refund of the first order but could only get through to them if I had an order number which I don?t have because I didn?t receive one. I read in the help section of Argos website that I would be refunded for the pending transaction, but to my surprise the transaction had been cleared when I checked my bank meaning it?s been fully taken. I would like a refund please and for you guys to have to make it easier for customers to contact about such issues.
