It's good for basics but the pricing is weird and inconsistent on a lot of products that are usually much cheaper in other supermarkets (e.g. own brand desserts and baked goods).As someone else in here mentioned, you also have to be very careful when picking items that claim to be reduced or part of a deal. On many occasions I've passed "reduced" or "deal" items through the self-service checkout and they aren't reduced at all, which is very frustrating. I then end up leaving said items and using another self-checkout as there are never any staff available to help. It's worrying that other people have been affected by these fake deals. It points to a more widespread issue throughout the shop, which really needs to be looked into.

Usually Morrisons is the best of the chains, but this one is very ropey. In my experience, whatever you want they've probably run out of it, so most of the time you end up going up the road to Waitrose and paying the extra.

Morrisons Basingstoke has the most amazing staff. They are very helpful friendly and approachable. Special mention to Rejoice, a staffer who saw me struggling at the self checkout till with my 5 month old. She proactively came to help and did all the scanning and packing for me. She was simply amazing. Thank you Rejoice.

Pratik was absolutely awful at dealing with costumers.Just asked for help with an item as the code wouldn't scan and he threw the staff in the bagging area and starting to shout, being extremely rude.He shouldn't be working with costumers.

If I could I would give it 0 stars, "The worst experience I have had in years in a supermarket".Yesterday about 6pm I went to do my Christmas shopping at Morrisons Holloway and when I already had my trolley full of products I approached the tills and there was only one person serving a line of about 20 people with trolley waiting, when I went to ask a team leader if it is possible to send another person to the tills, he told me that it was Christmas and they don't have people, so I had to wait an eternity.When I finally reach the cashier (and here comes the worst of all) I told the cashier that I had a £100 Morrison gift card and I needed to use it to pay part of my bill, she told me to hold my phone closer to scan the code. When I did this due to an accident, the PDQ took the payment from my phone, so I could not scan my gift card. When I asked her to cancel the payment or give me a refund to pay again, she asked me to go to customer service.When I went to customer service, the person there told me that I needed authorization from a manager, so I had to wait about 10 minutes until a team leader arrived saying that the manager was busy and they weren't going to do anything Because it was my fault, I asked this person that I need to speak to the manager on duty to explain my situation because it was just an accident and I really needed a refund resale to use my gift card. He told me that the manager is not going to show his face, upon hearing this I tell him So I want to return everything and I need my refund because I will go to another branch, however, he tells me that I would have to return in 3 days to get a refund with all the products, which is absolutely ridiculous. They gave me a very bad and unpleasant purchasing experience, and I felt that all my rights as a costumer were violated.Also when I ask for the name of the manager on duty they told me that they can not said that, an absolute joke.I will never shop at this place again

There are a lot of errors with prices. I think something fishy is going on there for a long time. They put a different price on the shelf and different price you get when you scan it. It says it?s on offer but it?s not.Neither, on the shelves it says to use Morrisons more. Nowhere it mentions that.So why are there price errors like this. I got scammed so many times. Very fishy. It has been going on for months!!!They need to look into this. Shame.

Well as I got in a shoplifter was legging it out of the shop lol ? ? and the poor security guy was chasing ? him..nearly got run over..otherwise packed I do not often go in Morrison still find Asda cheaper and I do so hate those self check out points.

This place is very dirty and parking is awful. All the parent and child spaces are always taken by people without a child! Today I drove round 3 times trying to get a space only to witness 5 people without children in their cars take spaces! After I finally got one, a man came to the car next to me, childless and wearing a morrisons uniform! It's unacceptable, this is a tiny car park and trying to get 2 babies out of a normal spaced space is impossible. There's a sign saying the car park is camera controlled and there must be an adult with a child in these bays, but it clearly isnt as this has been going on for months. Puts me off going when I cant even park safely!

Beware of shopping here!!!The shop is full of labelling/pricing errors and if you don't check your receipt you will be paying more than you expected and/or missing out on special offers.The issues;Goods placed at the wrong locations on display - so the label shows less than the items costs and you will pay at the till.Special offers which are no longer valid.Special offers which do not validate at the till.Goods placed by a special offer poster which ARE NOT included in the offer.No price label on the shelf.50% of the time I have shopped here I have to visit the customer services desk for a refund.Some of the staff are brilliant, helpful, knowledgeable and decent people.Other staff have a simple 'dont care' attitude and are in the wrong job.Go to Waitrose if you can or Sainsbury's in Angel/Camden.
