I had a horrible experience working at this store. I was fired after just two days for lack of experience, even though I applied for a trainee optical assistant role. To make matters worse, one of my colleagues seemed to know about my impending termination a day before I did as she advised me to do my pre-registration elsewhere, which was surprising since she herself had planned to do hers at this store. On the day I got fired, she tried to convince me that she had no prior knowledge of it. It's clear that the female director of this store must have informed her about my termination. This team appears to have a culture of dishonesty, so I strongly advise against working there.

Rushed service, always trying to sell you something, loud music in the shop like it was a pub. Overall, not a great experience.

So disappointed that this branch has deteriorated so much, the eye examiners are still good, but the rest of staff are not. I was told my glasses would be ready in a week time or sooner, and that I will be called. No one called nor answering my calls, when I went there I was appologized to for the delay but another week is passing and still no one calls nor answering calls. the senior staff who made the reputation for this branch like Ameer is hardly seen now, and the rest are inexperienced, unsupervised, badly trained. I was not given my prescription, nor any written quotation, and was quoted £265 for 1 verifocal pair with my own frames, but £295 for two pairs with their frames?. I am still waiting a week behind schadual. It is the last time ever I use this branch

Been waiting long time and the visit lasted 2 hours. Two weeks and haven't got my glasses yet. Horrible service.

My one star is for billing me £128 to replace just one lense that fell off and got lost, nothing to do with the staff. If I had lost the whole glasses I wouldn't mind paying. I'm being billed because you guys didn't do a good job fitting the lense and I call that daylight robbery.

Overall, I was satisfied with the service offered. I have been going to Specsavers for a very long time, the service always been appreciated. I will recommend it to anyone.

In fairness the staff were friendly and efficient at Holloway. The problem is the management policy of the company. I had booked and paid for an eye test, but Specsavers don't email you the prescription after. They write it down on a small piece of paper, knowing very well most will likely lose it. I then tried to ask for my prescription over the phone two months later so that I could look at various shops for a pair of glasses. They refused to give my lens prescription over the phone, despite me saying I can verify my details. They said it was 'company policy' and that I would have to go visit their store to get it. What utter dribble ridiculousness and a waste of time for something that would take 10 seconds to give over the phone.. Specsavers will use every trick to get you back in their store so they can sell you stuff. When I went on their web chat they 'looked at the wrong details' and again tried to direct me back to visit their store. Then when I put up a huff they 'magically' found them and then sent me a link to download my prescription. Use these rogues at your peril. Never again.

Absolutely fantastic. Such a kind group of people! Nektare was the optometrist that checked me today and she was truly a star. She explained to me the procedures, my eye problem, she was so kind, gentle and patient. I felt reassured and in good hands. I wish I could give them more stars, everyone was really lovely :) thank you so much

Considering you're paying a premium price at Specsavers, the service is extremely poor.I've ordered a reglaze of two glasses with the promise of being called when they are ready to pick up. No call at all, got the first back after walking in 2 weeks later. Sadly it was the wrong combination of lens and frame!!The second pair of glasses I received 6 weeks later after walking in about 4 times being promised a call back.The time they called back I got harassed with 5 (!) calls within 1 hour despite me giving them a timeframe to call back. In one of the calls they even asked if they should reglaze the glasses I left with them...Called them back and was told they didn't put 1 and 1 together when receiving the lens and looking at the frames I left with them...?! After I was told they are ready for pick up, I went to collect. The staff wanted to send me away again first, but I finally collected them (with dirty and dusty finger prints on them).Don't go there, it's not worth it. Overpriced and poor uninspired service.Update: Glasses fell apart just resting in the case. Stay away at all costs....

As a patient at this Specsavers store, I can definitely say that every experience has been positive. The staff is always professional and polite, they answer to any questions and give advice in what best suits a patient?s needs. In my case, I have a high prescription and different medical issues which also have made my vision more complex. The optometrists at Specs Seven Sisters Road have always dealt with my vision with efficiency and calm.
