“Plenty parking available. Location is very good. Prices are somewhat decent it's very much a place to shop for frozen food but there is plenty on shelfs brands wide choice of things to buy and staff work well and are plenty within. It's close to the exchange so will always attract shoppers inside.”

“I had an evening shopping experience at Sainsbury ,Ilford, and unfortunately, the long queues were quite a drawback. It can be frustrating to wait for an extended period during peak hours. Improving queue management during busy times would greatly enhance the overall shopping experience at the supermarket.”

“I had the pleasure of visiting the Iceland store in Ilford and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The store offers a wide range of products, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. Whether you’re looking for fresh produce, pantry staples, or unique gourmet items, you’re likely to find it here. One of the aspects that stood out to me was the pricing. The items were reasonably priced, making it a great place for budget-conscious shoppers like myself. It’s always a bonus when you can fill your shopping cart without worrying too much about the bill! The store layout is well-organized, making it easy to navigate through the aisles and find what you’re looking for. “Tried this Lidl for the first time, and it was a joy to do my shopping there, the staff are friendly and smiling. There was some problems verifying my parking, then both the friendly guy in the till and the manager rushed over to help me. I usually go to tesco barkingside for my shopping, but they are so unfriendly, grumpy and rude there if you're white or black, so quite racist. Doing the rest of my shopping at Lidl now, friendly staff, good service and good prices.”

“Busy. Really, really busy. And no one knows how to queue. But it's really good value and the bakery at the back of the store is very good (especially the cookies). So I'll shop here instead of Tesco's.”

“Very friendly and always helpful staff. Prices are similar to co-op since Nisa bought some of their branches out but when there's offers around worth a quick shop. Otherwise day to day shopping can get very expensive!”

“The shop was clean and presentable, but the email didn't mention that I would need ID for the Lego set that I was picking up on account of it being 18+. This caused a minor delay as I had to go home to collect my ID. In addition, the box was in terrible condition, presumably from something heavy being placed on top of the box. This was a shame because the Lego was a gift.On a more positive note, the customer service received was good and the lady did her job well.”

“If you want a proper shop, this might not be the place. But for a few quick items, you can't really complain about the selection.I don't know if it's "all opening hours", but they have a guard on duty helping to manage the flow of traffic and have installed lights on the outside (Green for Go; Red for Stop). It's just too bad that so much of the surrounding population is either too ignorant or too selfish to pay attention and consider other shoppers (though it is quite likely a rather equal share of both qualities). The staff are always friendly and willing to help. And, more often than not, you receive a welcoming smile. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that you can always find someone begging outside the door and, unfortunately, I don't think Tesco Express staff have the authority to do anything about it.”
