Computer says "no help" staff. Bunch of ladies sitting around unable to understand why on earth any UK citizen would be interested in opening an account with them. We know (the scandalous) PNB India is a separate legal entity but so what? If you want UK Sterling in your little bank then understand and affiliate more with the Indian banking system. Forge contacts to get things done quickly. Familiarise and encourage UK citizens to be able to move money between both outfits easily. That is why we come to you. NRI customers ( your core base) want seamless fluidity between both UK and INDIA operations. Perhaps then you can look to sell other more valued products and mortgages etc to them. If you can't understand that good luck but I'll bank with Citi or HSBC and you can stay in your region looking after those villagers.

ATM outside the bank does not work, sucked in my card and lucky I quickly cancelled it as only 5 minutes later I was getting charged multiple times. Fraud company has to resort to dodgy means to pay their bills!

Had an appointment in regards to opening an account facility at this branch.First impression makes a difference for any business or establishment, and ours was "SHOULD WE EVEN CONSIDER OPENING AN ACCOUNT HERE?"The Female Bank Official who dealt with us was outright rude and obnoxious. Imagine standing on the other side of the counter and her colleague requests us to please take a seat rather then her bothering!!! Then next question "WHAT APPOINTMENT?"After that rather then providing any account opening information, I am having to probe her on every aspect of the account, and the information being provided as if not only that she is doing us a favour, but more so as if we are desperate for having an account at her branch and the onus is upon us, to prove WE ARE WORTHY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS HERE, rather then the Bank wanting a New Customer!!!I could have taken the option of showing her the same attitude she was displaying to me, but I felt that would not only be degrading myself, but equally lowering myself to her level!!We were so disappointed by her arrogance and attitude, we felt, "IS IT WORTH OPENING AN ACCOUNT FACILITY IN SUCH A BANK WHERE YOU ARE TREATED LIKE THIS???"The management definitely requires to "PROVIDE URGENT TRAINING NEEDS TO SUCH STAFF, OR NO ONE WILL BOTHER CONDUCTING BUSINESS WITH SUCH A BANK."We decided it is not worth lowering ourselves to such a level and not bother with the account. I am sure she will definitely dream up some excuses to justify her actions, GOOD LUCK TO HER!!!

Abysmal service. Stuck in the old ways. No idea about customer service, their default starting position is aggression because you inconvenience their own inherent laziness. Dreadful way to run a business. Bank elsewhere, get a safe box elsewhere, do your international transactions elsewhere. I have no doubt this sort of business will demise in the years ahead

One of the stupid staff in this bank.. espacilly some ladies there, the ladies staff dont know how to treat a customer. There have one lady if u have bad day and she attend u, u feel embareesd to sit front off her... if u ask question she start making face on you, she start avoiding u.
