The worse branch from santander so ignorant they dont care about costumer at all have no clue with banking how it is when i went on bank station staff there sort my thing in a min when i went on ilford they told me to call sanfander on the phone so why is this branch for to send costumer to phone bankig that a joke they should sell veg on market not working in bank waste of time and santander money i have account for over 12 years i never been so disrespect and feel like no one they havnt got eny respect and loyalty too costumer sooo sad you should shut this place how it its when you can do more one the phone then in the branch joke

Absolutely terrible experience courtesy of staff member called umha My disabled 74 year old father has a credit card with Santander for the past two years he has been using card so mostly I have been coming on my own due to his blindness he is registered blind he recently had open heart surgery has pace maker so he has very bad difficulty walking he struggles so for the past two years I have been coming in paying his credit card bills on time always all other staff members at the tills are very straight forward polite friendly helpful nice to talk to this lady umha has served me personally too alone all her very friendly colleagues have served me no issues less then 1 minute job take the money give receipt that?s it never have I ever had a issue at this branch but I noticed before also this lady has 0 customer service skills speaks with like a teenage girl stroppy attitude like she don?t work for Santander she acts like this is her fathers branch umha limited bank I seen myself when she calls other customers over too with 0 friendly manner or politeness speaks in aggressive tone I ignored it before but today for some reason she didn?t want to serve me made a fuss out of nothing so basically I had to go back home grab my father and get him to show his face just soo she can take the money my father was unhappy she did not even let him speak started aggressive speaking back waving her arms around pointing with rudeness attitude a 74 year old blind man she was fighting with shame on umha I have already spoken to santander on phone explained issue made complaint i will not tolerate aggressive rude behaviour towards vulnerable elderly people I do not know how she was raised but I firm believer in karma one day you be rude or aggressive do something bad one day who knows maybe someone will speak to umha parents very badly that?s what you call karma so in future to make a point doesn?t matter how a elderly man is physically feeling I will make sure I bring him to branch so we can just give Santander their money

This comment is not for branches, my comment is for the recent situation of Santander bank. I have been working with Santander long time, I have an account in this bank since the time it was called Abbey National, it must have been 30 years. Every day the services are getting worse, the bank services, their behavior has reached the level of workplaces in the Sunday market, I filled out the form many times to open a business account, each time it was as if the form had a one-month validity period. After one month, you had to apply again and fill out the form, and without ever calling back, they give you a date two months later just because the one month period has expired. Of course, if you employ untrained workers i wouldn't be surprised if all bank even shut down completely, it's literally a waste of time.

I spoke to Satnder Sagoo today.She was very helpful and explained everything I needed to know and more. She was very careful to confirm my understanding of the options available to me. I was very grateful for her patience. I would recommend this branch of Santander.

I'd give zero stars. The Ilford branch is terrible, full of incompetent, rude staff, no idea how to talk to people and treat customers extremely badly. The staff make so many mistakes, closed my account by mistake which I had to spend weeks sorting out, do not know how to do basic things that they should know how to do, refuse to stamp statements that are required as proof delaying me. Made to wait more than half an hour on 16/11/22 around 3pm in the Ilford branch, to get the statements stamped, then there was an Asian girl ghat came back out after 45 minutes to say they can't do it! Atrocious customer service. Then she started gossiping and talking about me to another Asian boy staff there. Unprofessional, uneducated staff that do not deserve jobs. They lack basic common sense, common courtesy and manners. They argue with customers. Without customers the staff and managers won't have jobs. The manager is just as bad and defends his staff's awful, unacceptable conduct which is likely why he hired such deplorable staff in the first place and because he is like that, he refuses to address the misconduct that would otherwise would lead to disciplinary. How he's the manager there is shocking. I highly recommend others NOT to bank with Santander, go and bank with banks that respect, value customers and are professional. I will be moving my money to another bank and reporting them to the CEO and head office.

Rude staff, not even allowing me to take my own money out of my account even with 2 photographic ID, just because closing time and want to cost up and not go to the vault probably.
