Like the reviews from some others, the business banking unit at HSBC has pretty much shut down, especially during the pandemic. Staff saying they have moved on and can't help... what a load of cr4p.\\n\\nNow with their recent letters saying they will be charging for charity and club/association accounts from November 2021, its ?zaijian? to HSBC and hello to the little guy. I look forward to working with the new challenger banks because they deserve their chance too. HSBC's management is inept and stuck in the 1970's. No wonder their share price CONTINUES to underperform and remains under £4 even now.

I wemt into this HSBC branch and came out with my BANK ACCOUNT CLOSED. Servive was good by front line staff but terrible management! I was told I had to give a reason why i wamt my account which was inactive for a while reactivated. Its my account and i can do as i like with my money . Got pushed to close my account which i was sad about. Will be making a complaint. Customer staff was excellent! He went to the back to speak with management and came back with bad news. Appalling management. Only interested in the millionaires!!!

Accompanied my elderly mum there, our first (and last visit!) - the lady in front was very abrasive and curt - no communication and coordination on what happens next (after checking in with the request) - brought my mum to tears. When asked for her name /last name (so I could write a formal complaint), she refused to give her name and covered her name badge. She asked for feedback e.g. What did I do? She completely refused to accept feedback and tried to justify her behaviour. I asked for her name again - she refused and went to bring her manager. The manager was experienced and professional enough to de-scalate the incident but unfortunately, damage is done (as saying goes 'first impression counts'). I would strongly recommend Holborn branch - the team has been great so far - very friendly, welcoming and supportive and just happy to do thier jobs (which they are being paid for) - ask for Dominic - goes above and beyond to help.

Bank always fails to deliver on mobile banking. Don't release statements on time or make visiting them easy as they work only Monday to Friday during normal business hours. Shocking service I will be closing my account and going with one of their competitors

Appalling service. Came in for a query that should?ve taken 5 minutes to resolve, was kept waiting for over an hour and when I asked for an explanation, was just fobbed off with ?we?re a bit short today? (saw at least 15 staff members in branch, and there were about 4 customers waiting to be seen so this was clearly not true). Can?t remember the last time I ever experienced service this poor.

This is truly the worst bank there is around. Nothing works well - the branches have long queues because they are understaffed, and when you get to the front of the queue, they divert you to somewhere else, except that person you're directly to turns out to not be equipped to do the very thing you were told they could do. If you want to conduct business on their app it's hopeless as it's slow and does not work half the time. When it does finally log you in, its key features often don't recognise the "safety features" they put in place themselves, and if you call in, the service attitude of the phone staff are hilariously bad. Today, I fired HSBC as my bank and moved to one of the newer banks. The feeling of getting rid of them forever is AMAZING.

Me and my grandmother opened joined account with HSBC Canada, because my grandmother decided to move back to Europe after complicated back surgery, to reunite with rest of the family and hsbc looked like best choice. However because we didn't changed new address in UK, account got suspended because of suspicious activity. I managed to arrange and do id check in uk hsbc branch more than a month ago, but nothing but silence since then. Whenever I ring customer service, I get connected with artificial intelligence, which can't even confirn if Canadian branch have received documents. So I'm extremely concerned and don't know what to do. To go back to Canada and do id check in person will cost 800 cad plus hotel, plus the long journey....

3 months to open an account in this branch cause they kept losing the copies of my documents. Now after only one month without banking transfers they frozen my account without any notice. AVOID LIKE PLAGUE, WORST BANK I HAVE EVER SEEN

HSBC business online banking is so embarassing, it was probably built in the 90s and never updated since then.

HSBC is awful. Stay away from this bank, Iâ??d recommend that to anyone. I asked them to send me a card replacement and they asked me to phone back when I wasnâ??t sure about telephone banking, instead of offering to help me with it. The next thing was that when I phoned back and they sent me a replacement, they failed to tell me that 1) they couldnâ??t deliver to my address 2) that I needed to activate it (and only sent me a message about it when I called them a third time!). I waited over a month to get a new card, and as you can imagine that was not a very pleasant experience for me.
