My previous review of Xmas pick-up last year was 1 star as there was a very Rude manager.. spoilt Christmas desert.. every year a problem when I pick up the Xmas order.. avoid use other branches if at all possible -£35 such a joke. However this year I was looked after by Lisa who was awesome even while their staff tried to find the Xmas order (it took them 3 attempts to get all items.. so would say management you need to get yourself sorted in terms of pickup Xmas orders.. but at least if you have Lisa looking after people they will at least be positive about it.. so changing review from 1 star to 4 star.. it would have been 3 star if Lisa hadn't of been there.

Worst customer service I?ve ever faced in the UK by the woman behind the till today. She was so rude, god knows for what joy. I had my purchase (1 product only) in my hand, and she apparently did not like the fact that I did not keep it on the conveyor belt. I was just making space for the customer behind me, but she wouldn?t have it. So rude! Wouldn?t have expected this from a premium store in Canary Wharf!

Why do staff handling food not wear gloves. - very unhygienic. Also, how come no uniform anymore. It's difficult now to distinguish between staff and customer

Best desserts and absolutely awesome if you have a sweet tooth. I picked up a few bargains, including this chocolate & caramel seasalt cheesecake sphere.I also love how they have Italian biscuits, French prunes and baklava. They're also stocking some very moreish hazelnut wafers. It was great to grab some cool Halloween zombie chocolate eyeballs too. :pThey have peaches still, and red delicious apples, which are my main reasons for going to this store. The other things I'm a fan of are: the lentil noodles, herb pots and the wholemeal pitta. Unfortunately they don't seem to be stocking the lasagne ravioli or the triple cooked chips any more, but I can still order them on ocado (or at least they are showing as in stock online). I did score some potatoes dauphine on sale, which is another of my favourite but rarely do I indulge, treats. The store is a bit dark, but it's usually pretty quiet and not chaotic like some other supermarkets which feel like there are way too many people crammed into a frenzied atmosphere. The queue for the checkouts are pretty quick and they have wooden cutlery if you are buying lunch. The bakery is pretty great and there's a big range of sandwiches.M&S is a tad on the pricey side, but these days, I sometimes need to just enjoy life a little because the weather is becoming so grim and good food makes the days more special. It is after all the little things and about finding a balance!Update - I saw triple cooked chips in another M&S and I did manage to get the lasagne ravioli in my last ocado delivery.

It's okay. Mostly workers buying here, selection of dairy product could be better as some organic items are not being stocked. Come on let's see grass fed dairy and more organic products.

I loved it. M&S does a good job with their food halls in general, and this location is no exception. In fact, it's one of their better examples, excellent service, excellent staff, everything you would hope and expect. It's kind of a gem as well in that although there is a full- monty Waitrose and John Lewis nearby, this is a far better value for money with quality that matches or exceeds what can be found anywhere else. Highly recommended.

I was subjected to racism here. I paid twice and the first time for three bakeries and the second time for a bottle of water. At the second check out a female staff member came right up to me and very rudely questioned whether I had paid for the bakeries. Since I did not ask for a print receipt when I paid the bill for the first time, she didn't believe what I said! Her speech and demeanor were very rude, and there were a lot of people in the checkout area who challenged me just because I wasn't a native speaker! I've followed every clause, paid for everything and I'm still being questioned in this way, which makes me feel very uncomfortable and offended!!! What a unreasonable behavior!!! I need apologize for the racism attitude which offend me!!

We we're very tired. I decided to try Mark's and Spencer £12 meal deal. The paella was stodgy muck. The pudding was good. However, the overall experience was not worth the money

As chain supermarkets go in London, M&S is the best I've encountered. Almost everything I've purchased from this store has been of high quality, from the fresh beef to the convenience store sandwiches. There's some salted caramel digestives here that are to die for. I've bought a few rib eyes that I have cooked to perfection at home. Even the cheap New York pastrami sandwich is a reasonable facsimile of the real thing and, for the price, it competes with the mighty 7-11 SANDO from Japan (okay, maybe that's a step too far!) What's not to love? It's expensive. But so is London, and one stop in an Aldi will make you forego eating out a few nights a month to save up to splurge here.
