“We have been renting from Chase Evans in Royal Wharf for the last 4 years and our tenancy has been plagued by maintenance issues and ineffective contractors. This review is in two parts - the first part of our experience was before Louis Merritt took over personal responsibility for the property and our issues. Chase Evans were slow, poor and frustrating to communicate with and we had a new property manager every 5 minutes. And with every property manager the service got worse. It seems as though no internal note keeping is maintained. Every time we were given a new property manager we have to re-iterate every single issue we had faced; time consuming and frustrating. I would go as far as saying that the property was allowed to fall into a state of disrepair as a direct result of Chase Evans inability to respond to issues promptly or effectively. This was all before Louis Merritt intervened. Since Louis personally took responsibility for our issues, they have mainly all been responsibility (with only one outstanding which is a desperate issue with a contractor). Louis has provided clear and concise timelines and next steps regarding the rectification of maintenance issues and his communication has been excellent. Louis has regularly been in contact with my housemate and I via email, and the phone call and he has completely changed my opinion of Chase Evans and restored my faith in property managers in London. Louis has also been extremely understanding and has always worked hard to get us, as tenants, the right outcome, which has been refreshing to see. This 5 star review is for Louis and his commitment to us and the property, and for turning things around completely.
