Shelves are rarely stocked, staff are rude and impolite. Security guy follows you around making customers uncomfortable. Wouldn't advise to shop here unless you are desperate

Title: Extremely Disappointed with Sainsbury's and Its ManagerReview:I recently had the misfortune of visiting Sainsbury's, and I must say that I was thoroughly disappointed with both the store and its manager. From start to finish, my experience was nothing short of dreadful.Firstly, the store was in a complete state of disarray. The shelves were poorly stocked, and many essential items were out of stock. It seemed as if no effort had been made to ensure that customers could find what they needed. The lack of organization was evident, and it made shopping an absolute nightmare.Additionally, the customer service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. When I approached the manager to address my concerns, I was met with indifference and a complete lack of empathy. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for this individual. The manager's dismissive attitude only further exacerbated my frustration.Furthermore, the store was unclean and unkempt. There was a noticeable lack of attention to hygiene and sanitation. The floors were dirty, and the checkout areas were cluttered and unorganized. It was clear that cleanliness was not a priority for the management, and this only added to my discomfort as a customer. In conclusion, my experience with Sainsbury's and its manager was incredibly disappointing. The store's disorganization, poor customer service, and lack of cleanliness were unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative options before shopping at this particular branch.

I had purchased an item from the Ladbroke Grove branch and inquired if it could be returned to any Sainsbury's store in the event that it was not the correct item. The staff member I spoke with at that branch assured me that this was possible. However, when I attempted to return the item to the London Road branch, I was met with resistance from the staff member, Neha, who stated that the item could not be returned because it was not stocked at their branch.I pointed out that the Sainsbury's website clearly states that items can be returned to any branch and reminded Neha that her colleague at the Ladbroke Grove branch had assured me that returns were possible at any location. Despite this, Neha was unyielding in her stance. I requested that she check with her manager, Gurpal, who also confirmed that the item could not be returned at that location and suggested that I find a larger branch that stocked the same item.I found this response frustrating, as I was certain that both Neha and Gurpal were not telling me the truth so basically liars. Nonetheless, I was left with no choice but to travel to another branch, located in Hampton, where I was able to return the item with no questions asked.Upon discussing my experience with the Hampton branch, I learned that they had also encountered similar issues with the London Road branch in the past. It seems that this particular location is not well-informed about Sainsbury's return policy.I believe that it would be beneficial for the area manager to provide better training to staff at the London Road branch to ensure that they understand and follow Sainsbury's return policy. Customer service should be a top priority in the retail industry, and it is disappointing to see such a lack of concern for customers' needs at this location.

Arrived 22:50 was denied entry. Due to it being ?closed?. I could still see customers shopping inside & the website says store closes at 23;00. Ridiculous since I traveled 30 minutes just for sainsburys.

I've been to this place 3 times in an attempt to get cardboard boxes seeeing as I am moving house. The first time I spoke to someone they said to come in the morning of the next day. I came in the morning, and they said to come in the afternoon. I came in the afternoon and they said they hadn't kept any. Would appreciate if people had just said it takes too much of our time, or it it just an extra job that I was making them do that was too much, instead of messing me about like my full-time job is to go to sainsbury to look for boxes.

Avoid this place. James the racist security "video" man that racially profiles customers as they enter the store. You expect people to spend money this store if you are following them around? What a joke. Also a few months ago I saw one of the workers handle use her hands to sort the fresh bread. Totally unhygenic. There is a Cost Cutter and a Tesco within 2 minutes of this store. Try those instead.

I live opposite. While it is very handy... It has the most hideously piercing alarm that tends to go off at all hours late at night for ridiculously long periods of time. This hideous alarm seems to be going off more and more frequently of late. It is absolutely vile - Sort it Out! - Posted @ Midnight on a Sunday - After listening to it for an hour... Again!

As usual for sainsbury's over priced, under stocked and overhyped. Certainly no waitrose.
