Never been treated so badly, so rude and somehow didn't understand basic information and instead seemed to be annoyed and aggressive, horrible, stressful experience. Rushed through my appointment, which was also not cheap and definitely not the boots customer service I'm used to. Clearly, it's just a bad branch as it is a franchise, so go to a different branch or to Specsavers down the road, which treats its paying customers much better.

Friendly people and incredibly focussed and patient, kind help from the kind, humorous guy - I can't remember his name unfortunately although he did give it to me. Grey hair. Kind face.

An excellent local opticians that I cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you to the staff for always looking after my and my families eyes and always being available for any other issues along the way. Great shop and brilliant team. Well done Paul for a brilliant team.

All the staff here are welcoming, kind and professional. I went for a contact lens fitting on 20 May and was seen by Neil. He was marvellous. He really helped my fading eyesight and new his profession extremely well. He had so much patients when teaching me to put lens in and out. To him it was probably just his job, but to me he has changed my life with his knowledge and understanding of complicated eyes like mine. Im very grateful to all the staff for helping me in such a kind way.

Had an eye test as well as a contact lenses assessment - Everything ran like clockwork and everyone was very friendly. Couldn't recommend enough.

Why there is a member of staff wearing mask, gloves and putting hand sanitiser on them every minute? Ok i get the mask (covid is in the air, although it still doesn?t really protect, especially when everyone around is not wearing masks anymore) I was asked to hand over my glasses so that the staff member can check the frame after he put sanitiser on the gloves which would damage the gloss on the frame, i felt this was very unprofessional and left as I don?t want my glasses frame to be damaged and later to be told that this is not a frame from us hence there is nothing we can do sorry.

Great customer service and excellent advices. Got the Tomato UK frame and Paul and Rachel offered an outstanding customer service and showed a kindness and patience with my 4 yrs old little boy. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you and stay safe.

14 March 2020, 12:45 appointment.I went in with a letter and a voucher for free contact lens assessment and trial.The lady behind the counter says "have you worn contact lenses previously?"I say "yes years ago in Spain""she says well in that case YOU have to pay for an eye test because you've worn contacts before"I say "this is a free trial, I haven't worn them in years and this was literally the basis of the appointment."She says "because you have been honest, you have to pay"Wow..There is no condition in the letter about having previously worn contact lenses... I won't be going back, you'd think you wouldn't be running into these kind of people / sales tactics in a boots, when you have a letter stating the appointment is free... but here we are.
