I am not giving zero star because i am not given the option. I came here to buy some paint to be mixed. The person at the counter was hopeless not knowing what coverage means and giving random answers eventually admitting she was not familiar with paint. I tried to speak to the manager to get some help, a woman came to speak to me, her face so annoyed as if she was receiving some unwanted/unexpected guests in her own home. ?I was wondering if you can help me? ?no? she goes. And me ?if the lady at the counter cannot help perhaps you can help? the supposed ?manager? ?well if she cannot help there is nothing i can do? this is the worst customer service experience of 2023. I was approached by a great young man called Jerrell to see if I needed help. I was amazed at how knowledgeable, kind and generous he was with his advice and time. Watch out, the ?free? parking comes with hefty fines for parking offences: £100 for being ?not parked correctly within the markings of the bay or space?. As you can see from the picture there are no markings but even if they were clear this would still be very questionable. Managed of course by a private company U.K. Parking Control Ltd

Very very disappointed with store and service here. I purchased item using self service and my receipt didn?t come out. No one available to help finally manager by name of James came and refused to give me my receipt. Decided to make me wait until he serves all the customers behind me before giving me my receipt. Never ever coming to this store again

Good amount of stock, huge store but no trolleys anywhere in sight and by admission of the staff this B&Q superstore only has 8 trolleys to its name including staff trolleys. How you're supposed to buy anything is a mystery. I was offered the option of lugging 15 bags of top soil from the garden centre and pile them up at the till. I was told by the manager that staff were not allowed to assist and the only other option would be to wait at the tills for a trolley to become available (presumably following a customer out to the parking lot when they've done their shopping without it trying to come across as a pretext for a mugging and fending off other trolley hungry customers?). An available staff trolley was not offered for use because there were three lengths of MDF board on it and I was told there was no option to move them despite two staff being on break and plenty others on shift. The manager on shift insisted the trolleys get stolen and that's why they don't have any. This doesn't seem to be a problem for the Asda superstore across the parking lot. I imagine Asda has just more persuasive ways to deal with local trolley thieves. Or maybe they actually have some sort of competent management. This retail experience left me thinking it's no wonder that shops are having to close down left right and centre. What's the point of having a shop with no trolleys and absolutely clueless staff when you have a website that delivers and does click and collect. A friendly reply or some offer of help would have gone a long way to address what's not an unreasonable complaint. But even that wasn't on offer.

Great staff all helpful very huge also and seem to find everything I need there . Sometimes they are short of staff so hard to find help but when you do they are helpful

Staff are moody, item listed on the website as in stock but on arrival it's in a 'TradePoint' area that is closed? But the store is open? So they wouldn't let me buy it. Awful all around. Doesn't say anything about it being trade point on their website.

Great that they are here!!! Always need a handy store like this but staff seem irritated and not very helpful.I asked a question about a tool location and was pointed at a direction instead being led and shown. Remember it?s a huge store!

Ripoff Flogas at B&QSo went to buy a second 13kg Patio bottle yesterday only to be told that B&Q no longer stock Calor. My calor bottle is near empty and I needed gas so went ahead. I was additionally charged £47 to register as a new flogas customer. No explanation was offered about this by the very terse somewhat rude woman who served us. I don't remember having to pay to register buy calor gas. When I got home I discovered that it is only an 11kg bottle. Also there is no indicator to show how full or empty the bottle is. Avoid B&Q and find a calor dealer.
