This is an afternoon tea which doesn't impress. The tea is good and the food relatively tasty, but the portion size and service really let us down.Servers were inattentive and, considering the level of service expected at an afternoon tea, they were relatively rude.Afternoon teas are also much worse when you can't ask for more sandwiches and this unfortunately is one of those. It's quite expensive and you don't leave feeling you got either a nice afternoon tea experience or good value for money.The clientele were largely tourists and so I think this definitely qualifies as a tourist trap.

One of our favourite afternoon teas and good value for the quality. Service was extremely friendly. Savoury bits, scones and cream puffs were delicious, only one of the cakes we had could be less dense/sweet but we took it away to have later. The choice of tea was amazing and the champagne top notch. Overall a lovely experience.

My husband and I had afternoon tea for the very 1st time here and it was perfect! The staff was incredibly nice! The food and tea were delicious! The atmosphere was nice and quiet in the middle of a busy city. It was definitely worth the price. We would absolutely do it again for a treat! Thank you for a fantastic experience!

I carefully selected the parlour after extensive online research. This place is seriously bad. The savory portion is the same as sandwiches from t Pret a Manger, and the sweets are only a bit better. The tea is extremely weak. Ambiance is eh. All tea places are overpriced in London but this was far below expectations. The Ritz is much better. MUCH better.

Great little tea time! It's small so get a reservation if possible. Stay seemed aggregated we didn't have a reservation but when I looked online at the door it was wide open so they took us with rolled eyes.Service was a bit slow but it's tea so no worries. We got the bottomless champagne to find out later that there is only an hour and a half timelimit on it. That combined with slow service does not make it worth it. The first server gave us an attitude when we just tried to get one last top off. The second server argued with us but then topped us off. They really need to tell people this.Food was pretty good. And the atmosphere was very classy and cozy.

I booked afternoon tea for mother & son treat. It?s rare we get chance to catch up without the rest of the family. I liked the environment of the parlour-lovely decor. We enjoyed the food although thought it needed more sandwiches/savouries. I was disappointed with the waitress serving- she was very unfriendly and came across as cold. We could not hear her description of the food as she spoke very quietly. When booking I said it was a treat for my son?s 40th birthday on the booking platform. It asked me to upload his photo so that they could welcome him. Unfortunately none of this was acknowledged so I don?t know why you asked for this in the first place.

We had the festive afternoon tea and really enjoyed the great selection of tea and the exceptional service by the staff. The savory selection was really good and we loved the scones. However, we found that the cakes were too sweet and overall it was too much. We couldn?t finish all of it.

An absolute delight, this was my first for afternoon tea and the parlor was the best one could ask for!! The entire staff from street entrance, lobby bar and finally the parlor were exactly what one hope and more!
