Terrible customer service. I've never left a negative review before for Argos. This is the first time. And I blame the member of staff at this branch who was dealing with my issue. I came to store to return a faulty item within 30 days. In fact, it had been only 4 days. Yet, Jamil, who told me he was the manager, said that Argos are just a retailer and that I would have to contact the manufacturer directly. I explained that this was false information yet he stubbornly still refused to issue a refund. I spoke with customer service and they told me what he was saying was not correct, and that I should be issued a refund at the store. On the Argos website it says the same. I explained this to Jamil and Kamil (both claiming to be managers), but they still refused to issue a refund. I then spoke to Samsung and got a reference number. I came back to the store and they still refused to issue a refund, saying that they were unable to verify the reference number. I got them to phone Samsung in front of me and they spoke to them but they still refused to issue a refund, because Samsung didn't provide me with a diagnosis!! And the reference number was insufficient. Never shopping from this branch ever again! I don't know who made the decision to hire these guys. Utter shambles.Just wanted to post an update. This branch has categorically denied my right to a refund. They have told me that if I want a refund I would have to go back to the store where I originally purchased the item! This is extremely inconvenient for me. And according to Argos, I can get a refund at any branch, but they have categorically refused.

Impossible to return item that I have paid an insurance for. Got accepted by another Argos. No care at all about the customer, the goal is to do the least possible and avoid all forms of workPlease no manager like this should have a place at an Argos or any business

don?t buy from here if there is any chance you might have to return the item, they will deny it even if it?s in the return window and returnable condition.

They denied a refund for a pair of rings that were the wrong size. The online chat rep was rude and unhelpful and could not prove to me where it said these items were not refundable. Shocking customer service and outright fraudulent. I won?t be shopping here again

Rude staff, totally unhelpful. Next time I will go the the Argos in Chancery lane instead or just buy what I need elsewhere.There were 2 people behind the counter one was scrolling on his phone and the other just stated at me.

The only thing in common with other Argos shops is the name. The manager doesn?t follow the Argos policies and think he can follow his own policies. Staff needs some training. Even the online Argos customer service didn?t agree with what he was saying.

Go there if you'd like to learn 'What not to do in customer service 101'. I wanted to return and unopen and unused product and went there on 21/3 around 5:20 PM. The guy straightaway said it can't be returned as it's not in resealable condition. I ha donly opened the delivery box and nothing else. He could not explain the meaning of resealable. Just put his foot down and said I won't do it. Against the return policy of Argos and against common sense rules. Extremely disappointed. Another store immediately accepted the return. They need some training!

2 months after purchasing a toaster, it stopped working has it's intended. The toaster stopped locking in the toast inside, everything else worked that means you had to hold your finger in to toast it. Zayn was the manager that attended to my issue and refused to give me a new toaster, (which still is within warranty, so they have to) he was very rude, unprofessional and had a condescending tone. His reason to not give me a new one was because the toaster still worked. Does anyone knows about a toaster that you need to keep your finger in? I don't plus that's not how it was when I purchased.

Shut this store down!!!!I had an issue here Store manager Zayn told me it is MY fault if the staffForget to put all items in my bag.Argos staff didn?t put all my ordered items in bag. Zayn, offered me no compensation for my troubles, and suggested. It is MY Fault if staff don?t do their job properly. Every single argos store will eventually close, with incompetent staff like this, when there?s so many competitors never again will i waste my money here.Worst customer service in history.

A shop in the busiest part of the city closes at 18:00. Unfriendly for people worked in the daytime. Suggest to revise the opening time.
